On the main level, you’ll find two smaller bedrooms connected by a bath—this area also can be closed off as a junior suite for a couple to spread out or as a kids’ hideaway. Three stairs down from the entryway is the Primary Bedroom, a spacious retreat with commanding views of the West Elk Mountains and a large bathroom with a wood paneled shower, two sinks, a Jacuzzi tub
and open closet. The Primary bedroom has its own deck to enjoy in summer.
Up one level from the entrance is the large family room with expansive windows that offer up 270 degree views of Mother Nature at her best, no matter what time of year. An open kitchen looks on to a dining area that’s also perfect for playing games, and a living space with TV cornered by a wood -burning stove perfect for hunkering down on cold nights. The family room
has access to two decks, one of which has a stairway leading to ground level.
Three steps up from the family room is the Junior Suite which can be used in a variety of ways. A sitting area to watch TV, a game table (cards or mahjong anyone?) and an office with printer all surround a Queen bed with an elevated Twin bed. The picture windows here are a great place to watch the neighborhood foxes and the moon over the Butte.
Did we mention we like kids? The house comes with Graco pack n play and sheets, plates and cups for kids, Vista stroller with toddler attachment, books and toys for all ages.
The heated garage is where you’ll park your car and store ski equipment, fishing gear or other toys.
This property is serviced by the new, FREE First Track shuttle system that will pick you up from the driveway and take you to the base ski area where you can also catch the free shuttle down to town for shopping or dining.
This property is a 0.2 mile walk from the Home Owner's Trail. You can access the Gold Link Chairlift from the groomed Home Owner's trail when it is open. The walk is uphill to get to the trail and all down hill on the way home.
