Ski Getaway
This was our first visit to Crested Butte and we absolutely loved the skiing. The home was perfect…beautiful inside and spacious for a big group. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a five star experience with a big group.

Truly ONE OF A KIND
This is without a doubt the nicest property my friends and family have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It almost makes it hard to believe because the pictures don't even do it justice!!! Easy 10min walk to town makes it super nice when you finally pry yourself away from the pool table and hot tub :)

Fun at Big Mine Crested Butte
This property worked out great for our family of 9. We really appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom. The hot tub and media room were lots of fun. The Host, Property Manager and Owner were helpful answering any questions we had. It’s a beautiful property with amazing views from all windows.

Great Property and Customer Friendly Owners
We had 15 people stay at the house for my daughters wedding on October 9th. The location and views can’t be described or fully appreciated in the pictures. You have to see it for yourself. The house was exactly as advertised with extras like the O2 machine, hot tub that was always ready for use, the wood burning gas fireplaces, sound system, and an occasional visit from a family of mule deer and a few foxes. The house had a gas grill and a big green egg. We smoked a nice pork shoulder on the green egg. The house was stocked with everything that was necessary including food staples so we didn’t have to go immediately to get groceries. Finally, the owners were very gracious, flexible, and responsive. This is a great venue for any occasion!!

Spectacular Home & Hospitality
Our 5 star experience really started far before our stay. Theresa’s made herself available to answer any of our questions, and she even connected us with her “A Team” of property managers who were also extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Once it came time for our stay, we received the same level of communication and help from Eric. As for the house itself- we had 14 of our friends stay with us. It worked out really well- each couple had their own room with an insane view. Each room had its own private bathroom which is a huge benefit. We didn’t quite fill the bunk room. It was comfortable for 4 adults but would’ve been tight if we had more. Would be a perfect room to fill with kiddos though! The living space and disco room were perfect for pasta night with the group. We enjoyed a night cap and s’mores outside as we sat around the fire pit and star gazed. Outside of the stay itself, we had a small intimate wedding here. We honestly feel like it had the best 360 views in town and that we hit the jackpot. Our guests were blown away. Spacing was perfect as we set chairs up overlooking crested butte mountain and utilized the lower garden area for an intimate cocktail hour. We are so happy with our experience. This home will always hold a special place in our hearts!!

Absolutely wonderful!
The home is beautiful and has everything you’d want and more! It’s walking distance to town and to a trailhead. We enjoyed gorgeous views from every window! Our little ones had fun playing the game tables (Ping pong, air hockey and fuse ball), all of us played pickle ball on the new court and had a dress up dance party in the disco room with lights and fun music. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing House! Perfect for big families
This was one of our favorite stays in CB! The views are unbeatable, location is super close to town and the house is perfect! plenty of room, great amenities, and the pickle ball court was a hit! Everything was great, from the hot tub, big kitchen, theater/pool room and ample dining space! Highly recommend staying here, especially for bigger families!

Amazing house and property
We had a fabulous stay! The house met all expectations and exceeded many. The kitchen was very well stocked and had lots of spices and oils etc to use. The property is gorgeous and we loved the outside firepit! Communication with the owner and property manager was fantastic and they were very helpful answering questions about Crested Butte as well. A short walk into town made the comings and goings of 11 people very easy. Thank you!

This was the best place for a microwedding with our family. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue (indoor and outdoor). Theresa and her house manager were excellent with communication and we loved the ability to have groceries picked up and stocked at the house for arrival. 5 stars!

Ultimate relaxing getaway
We were beyond impressed with our stay the home & property were stunning! This rental exceeded our expectations! My husband & I rented this home for our wedding vacation, we stayed a week with family! It was perfect for a small intimate gathering! Private & quiet! We walked to the pond, enjoy time around the fire & the hot tub was key! I was so impressed by all the comfort’s & amenities! The kitchen was perfect for entertaining! There was minor construction work going on during our stay, it was slightly distracting & loud. We did mention it to the owner & caretaker they did help to wrap it up as soon as they could. All & all, wow! What a place!

heaven in the mountains
Our trip was amazing; the house and location were perfect for skate skiing as the trails run through the property below the house and go for miles along the bench lands and through the valley. It was peaceful and private yet it was very close to the town which had lots of good restaurants,bars and coffee shops. We'd come back in a heart beat.

Wonderful large old home
Beautiful views from this home. The property is great for a family to get together. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Their caretaker was on site most days to deal with any snow or other issue. Thanks for the great vacation.

Absolutely Beautiful
This place is amazing. Our family had a blast and it was perfect for the 9 of us. There were a few things that were broken...the left side of the range didn't work and one of the doors to the outside wouldn't lock. We cooked all meals at the house so not having the capability to cook more than two things was a little annoying. Also, we were told to keep doors locked so bears wouldn't try to come in the house so that worried me a little. We paid a premium price for Christmas week. It was be a wonderful memory for the whole family. The view is worth all of it.

Thank you for letting us know the burners were out. We have replaced the range and there are 6 working burners now. The door to the exterior is also fixed. I didn’t realize it was an exterior door from your message. Thanks for staying with us over Christmas!

Perfect Winter Retreat
Truly breathtaking views of Mount Crested Butte from the living room and bedrooms! Three families were more than comfortable and loved staying in the Big Mine. The fully equipped kitchen, fitness room, theater room, pool and ping pong table and hot tub were enjoyed by all when not skiing. Thank you for the perfect winter retreat!!!

Great Family Home!
Wow! This home has it all from a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware, and cookware for a family of 18 to a well stocked home in everyway. We celebrated Thanksgiving during our stay and we had everything we needed to prepare it. The home is spacious and equipped with lots to do for both adults and kids. We all enjoyed the pool/ping pong table, the games, the books and the theatre room was a nice reprieve for all of us. The kids enjoyed a few movies and the adults enjoyed watching the US play in the World Cup Soccer Tournament. The steam room was so relaxing and a nice amenity since the temps dropped to way below what we're used to in California. The hot tub was an invigorating contrast to the cold outdoor temps. It was such a nice stay for our chaotic, energetic and fun family. We so appreciate all the home's amenities. The large family room has a great fireplace that we had roaring fires in each night. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the radiant heat was wonderful. The kids had such fun with the fog machine and disco lights as they had dance parties several nights and the bunk room was perfect so all the kids could sleep together. Theresa was prompt in her replies to all my questions before and during our stay. And, she allowed us to bring our 20 lb dog with us which was great so we didn't have to board her or find someone to watch her during the holiday week. When we contacted her with an issue with the theatre room's wifi, her property manager, Eric, was quick to show up and reboot the system. The No Shoe Policy in the home was just fine as the radiant heat kept us all nice and warm. When I told Theresa we were going to the mountain for opening ski day, she made sure to let us know there were costumes in the bunk room closet to wear. Opening day on the mountain is a very celebratory day. We had a great time and think anyone else who rents this home will too.

CB retreat
We had a fantastic time at this property. Is one of the larger homes offered for rent in the valley and can easily accommodate 2 to 3 families. Our teenage boys love the media room and pool table and the views overlooking the town in Mount Crested Butte were amazing! The house sits on 35 acres so you’re on your own private Compound But close enough to walk to town in five minutes.

Fantastic Views
This property was truly amazing. The views are incredible with a 10 min walk to town(a little longer on the way up). The house was truly a kids dream. Our family of varying ages of children had the best time. There were so many games and things to keep the kids entertained. We enjoyed nightly dance parties on in the sunroom with the disco lights. Green lake trail head is minutes away from the house. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. We had the best time! Thank you for having us!!

Redefining Magic Mountain
Theresa and her team of property managers were brilliant. The place was beyond magical as the site for my partner and my wedding. Theresa was so accommodating and we couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend all around and could go on and on about all the amazing spaces in the place to enjoy from the hot tub, steam shower, access to nordic ski trails, the outdoor fire pit, the movie theater, pool table, spaces to lounge, piano that is sounds great, the kitchen, the sound system....it's how you hope to retire and everyone of our guests was enamored by the privilege of spending time at the Big Mine. We're already trying to figure out reasons to come back and hope we'll have the opportunity, but I suspect this will be increasingly more difficult as word leaks of this unbelievable place.

Great Propery
We really enjoyed the house and its fun layout. Really a well done house. The view is spectacular. Unfortunately/fortunately we had heavy snow for many days and didn't get to enjoy the view as much, but the inside made up for it.

Family ski trip
We had an amazing stay at this house we have stayed in the area several times. But never with a view like this one! We loved everything especially the Hot Tub at night! Great size rooms and space for everyone. We loved being able to listen to music throughout the house. This house is definitely a vacation within its self you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to! We definitely recommend it and awesome host!
