➔ Bedroom 2 — Second King (en-suite full bath)
King bed, en-suite bathroom.
➔ Bedroom 3 — Third King (en-suite full bath)

✔ Covered garage parking for 2 vehicles — no morning scrape-the-snow
✔ Elevator access from the Plaza lobby
✔ Self check-in via smart lock
SHARED PLAZA AMENITIES (all Plaza guests):
✔ TWO hot tubs — indoor (pool area) + outdoor (3rd-floor deck)
✔ Sauna inside the pool area
✔ Pool table in the lobby hangout
✔ Tennis and pickleball courts with mountain views
✔ Building lobby with warm-lit gathering area
3 PROS:
✔ The 3-minute walk to the lifts really is 3 minutes — we've timed it in ski boots.
✔ Three King en-suites is a rare configuration — most 3BRs at CBMR base include a bunk room.
✔ Covered garage parking in a ski town is genuinely hard to find — skip the scrape ritual.
2 CONS:
✔ Both hot tubs are shared with other Plaza guests — peak après (4–6pm) can get busy. Indoor tub area is usually quieter.
✔ No A/C — rarely needed at 9,400 ft, but south-facing rooms warm up midday. Open windows handle it.
Guest Access:
Full private access to the 3-bedroom condo. Self check-in via smart lock — code sent the morning of arrival. Building has elevator access from the lobby.
Parking:
- Covered garage parking for 2 vehicles, included with the rental — enter the Plaza garage and follow signage for unit 440 parking
Shared Plaza amenities available to all Plaza guests:
- Two hot tubs — one indoor and one outdoor (3rd-floor deck)
- Sauna
- Pool table in the lobby hangout space
- Tennis and pickleball courts with mountain views
- Plaza lobby with gathering area (warm-lit evenings, fireplace)
The Neighborhood:
You're in Mt. Crested Butte — the base village at the foot of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Plaza sits at the center of it: lifts, après-ski restaurants, coffee shops, and gear rentals all within a 5-minute walk.
In summer, the village turns into a mountain biking and hiking hub with chairlift-accessed singletrack and the Wildflower Festival (Crested Butte is Colorado's official Wildflower Capital).
Historic downtown Crested Butte is 3 miles down-valley. Elk Avenue's preserved Victorian main street has the best small-town dining in Colorado — Secret Stash pizza, Sunflower, Soupçon — plus galleries, bars, and a free shuttle from the village so nobody has to drive home.
» 3-min walk ➔ CBMR lifts
» 2-min walk ➔ Mountaineer Square (dining, shops, gear)
You don't need a car to ski — walk to the lifts, take the free Mountain Express shuttle downtown. A car helps for trailheads, grocery runs to Clark's Market, and day trips to Kebler Pass.
- Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC): 35-min drive — seasonal direct flights from Denver, Houston, Dallas
- Denver International (DEN): 4.5-hr drive — shuttle services available (Alpine Express, Dolly's)
- Free Mountain Express shuttle: runs between the village and downtown every 15 min in winter
- Rideshare: Uber/Lyft available but limited, especially late night — shuttle is more reliable
- Winter driving: Hwy 135 is well-maintained; AWD/4WD or chains recommended during storms
- Parking: covered garage for 2 vehicles included — a rare amenity at the CBMR base
