Look no further! This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cozy log home is perfect for your mountain getaway! The riverside location is a nature enthusiast's and fly fisher's dream. And did we mention the views?!
Just one mile south of historic downtown Crested Butte (easily accessible by car or by bike), this charmer, which directly faces Mt. Crested Butte, is surrounded by the mountains and situated right alongside Slate River. Nestled on 2.4 acres of land in the Riverbend subdivision (across the river from The Club at Crested Butte a/k/a Skyland), you'll be mesmerized by 360-degree, "to-die-for" views from the front and back porches and many windows throughout the house and parking will never be an issue. All the while, you will still have your modern-day creature comforts (WiFi, Smart TVs, cable, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Roku, new LVP flooring/carpet/washer and dryer/window treatments (2017), a fully equipped kitchen that was completely renovated during mid-2018 and a first-floor bathroom that was remodeled floor to ceiling during late 2018.
During the summer, this home provides the ideal spot for early-morning wildlife viewing (picture: hummingbirds, geese, deer and elk!), afternoons spent reading or just relaxing in a rocker on the front porch, quality time with loved ones drinking/dining al fresco on the back porch, and late-night S'mores cooked over the backyard fire pit. During the winter, after a long day on the slopes, you can park yourself in front of the 55" Ultra High-Definition 4K Smart TV in the family room and stay nice and toasty, courtesy of the new wood stove (2017).
If you need to accomplish some work during your mountain stay, you can set up shop on the desk in the family room. Or, if you'd prefer to spend your vacation logging some sleep, have no fear; the black out shades in the bedrooms will ensure that you get in all of your ZZZs.
The downstairs level features two bedrooms (one with a (1) King-sized bed and one (1) with a Queen-sized bed) and one bathroom; and the upstairs level features two bedrooms (one with a (1) Queen-sized bed and the other with two (2) Twin beds) and one bathroom. This configuration can work well for extended family, multiple couples or a group of friends to share, as well.
This comfy cabin is eager to give you some well-deserved R and R. Just bring your book, your fishing rod and/or your wine -- and soak in all that Crested Butte mountain living has to offer...

Loved staying at this cabin, the views were amazing and it was do fun sitting out by the firepit each night. It was close to town which was convenient yet the cabin felt so private! Would stay here again!
Our family traveled from NC to Crested Butte to stay in this beautiful cabin with Majestic views. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed, and so close to town. We are planning another trip and hopefully can stay again.
We stayed at this property for a birthday ski trip with a bunch of friends and this property was PERFECT!! Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean and the views were top tier!
This property was everything it said it was! It is in a great location and wonderfully supplied. It was very comfortable for all seven of us. We would happily visit again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well appointed clean and had gorgeous views of the mountains. We've stayed in Colorado many times and this was by far our best views.
The check-in process was a breeze and Crested Butte had great little shopping and eating areas. Would highly recommend both the property and the community!
Very nice property and location. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough to get to Elk Ave. in just a few minutes' drive. Very impressive views in all directions from the cabin. While the cabin is riverside (Slate River), the water levels in late August were not conducive to fishing. However, the East, the Taylor and the Gunnison Rivers are a short drive away and the flyfishing was excellent.
While the location isn’t as secluded as the photos suggest, it’s more private than many other parts of CB. End of a cul de sac, Slate River access from your backyard and only 1.5mi to town (quick drive or a trail for walking). We had 6 adults and 3 kids and were comfortable in the space, especially given the outdoors space. We will be back!
My friends and I enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin. Living room and dining table were small for eight adults. Adequate parking for our vehicles. We would have appreciated keyless entry.
For a weekend of skiing in Crested Butte, you can't beat this cabin for the price. Cozy atmosphere, great kitchen with utensils, super close to the ski resort. Beds and couches were comfortable. The property managment even towed us out of the driveway when we were stuck after a lot of snow. We greatly appreciated the snow plows coming in every morning. The only thing I would change would be to have the key in the lock box on the porch instead of the property management building. Overall super satisfied with this rental!
My husband and I stayed in the cabin in early December 2023. The cabin was the perfect getaway so we could relax and enjoy the area. We loved the wood stove and used it every day. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently close to town. Crested Butte was decorated for Christmas and offered some great meal and shopping choices. We made breakfast in the cabin every morning and had two dinners there. The views of the surrounding mountains from the dining table are incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the cross country skiing trails, which were all easily accessible from the cabin. We highly recommend staying in the cabin and visiting Crested Butte!

Ski holiday
Lots of cobwebs. Kitchen faucet spout sprays all over the place, needs cleaning. Upstairs bathroom faucet ready to fall off, needs tightening. Dining table leg was ready to fall off, I hand tightened leg nut as I had no tools. Kitchen cabinets need a good cleaning on outside. Inadequate kitchen utensils and seating in living room. Great location.
Beautiful property, but the pictures do make it seem much larger than it is. Only negative was that the upstairs floors squeaked when anyone would walk on them. I loved that it was so close to town!!
Had a great stay! Wish a few things were updated like the dish washer and heating (baseboards, difficult to regulate), but otherwise no complaints! It was really nice being able to walk to the Nordic trails and bus stop.
