Newly Renovated!!!! New Flooring Throughout the Home and Newly Painted Walls!

Come explore what Southern Illinois has to offer for your next family getaway! The "YARDHOUSE AT THE LAKE" has it all! 4 bedrooms with 4 queen beds and 2 baths. Nice rooms with a large deck overlooking the yard and waterfront of a cove at the Lake. Dock with electricity, NIce Lake Views, Fire Pit, Wifi, Outdoor Grill, garage, Washer/Dryer, Flat Screen TV's/DVD player, Direct TV including the Sports Package, Fully stocked (just bring food and toiletries), all new furniture in fall of 2019.

Internet is included and is 6 mbps down and 1 mbps up.

We also rent the homes just down the street in walking distance. One is a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath (vrbo 710693) and sleeps 8, and the other is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath (vrbo 1185578) and sleeps 12!
Ask about renting 2 homes or 3 homes for better discounts!!!! All of our homes are located at the mid point of the lake. See the attached photo showing the location of all our rental homes at the lake.

Boat rentals are available around the lake. Check out https://lakeofegyptpontoonrentals.com and tell them Roman sent you!!!

Macks Marina and Egyptian Hills Marina also have boat rentals and you can launch your boat from both of them and also Pyramid Acres for a small fee.

We do provide two kayaks and two paddleboards for each home. Please bring your own life vests as we do not provide those.

No pets allowed.

We do require a $100 Damage Deposit. This will be returned to you immediately upon our cleaning team reporting no damage, no excess cleaning, and no excess trash.

Perfect place for my buddy and I to get away for a bit and do some fishing. Place had all the basic essentials- and check in was a breeze. Nice, quiet location- plenty of parking room for my truck and boat trailer, quick access to the nearby boat ramps, and a convenient dock to tie up to.

Get together with Buddies

Four of us got together to watch the National Championship. The location was central to all of us. The house was clean and comfortable. Not too far from a dollar store and then a short drive to Marion if you want restaurants and shopping. Too cold for the lake but nice view and would probably be a great summer stay.

The house was clean and looked like the pictures. There were 3 of us and we didn’t spend much time inside the house, but we all slept comfortably. It took us a little bit to get used to the kitchen being downstairs

Lake stay

House worked out great for us. Could have used a few more towels, but not a big deal. Nice to have a dock in the back yard - kids enjoyed fishing off of it. Only complaint was the water was shallow and lots of seaweed so couldn’t really swim by the dock.

Great Place with a Couple Mishaps

The place is in a great location with a dock. The house was clean and roomy. One of the bed frames was broken and they never came with a replacement. The wifi was also not working the entire time we were there (although they did at least try to come and fix it). Manager was friendly and prompt with responses.

Nice little home.

We stayed there for a Hunting Trip. Myself and 3 other guys. Property was clean. Property was exactly as described. Plenty of parking space. BBQ grill can probably be replaced. Nearing end of life. Fridge in Kitchen could use some maintenance, works great, just leaking water from bottom gasket. All other appliances in working order, air conditioning/heater works great. No complaints. Cleaning lady even stopped by to ask if we needed anything. Will definitely stay again whenever in the area.

The property manager & housekeeping staff were very good to work with. House was clean. The house had multiple safety issues. 2nd floor deck was rotted & unsafe. Lower bedroom light didn’t work- flickered like a strobe light. Lower floor bathroom had extremely unsafe high walled tub with nothing to hold onto while step in & no nonskid strips on bottom of tub. Hinge broken on kitchen cabinet.

Needs a lot of maintenance

The property was clean, and check in was really easy. Location is nice. But it is definitly in the poorest shape of any VRBO I've stayed in. Two of the bedroom doors don't shut. Dishwasher is not mounted and comes out when you try to open the door.The corner cabinet in the kitchen has a broken door and has for months according to reviews.The tub spigot downstairs isn't mounted in the wall and pulls out when you turn the shower on.The light switch in the downstairs bathroom failed when we were here. Not the light and not the breaker.The deck is sagging and boards are popping up. Nails are sticking up. Not safe to use.Chairs at the upstairs table are missing bottom rungs and are wobbly. Didn't feel safe using two of the four.One of the basement bedrooms lacks a suitable fire escape. Just a small window too high to escape from.The steps are way too steep to be anywhere near code.Overall the finish of the place is pretty rough. Nothing was something that I felt warranted a call over the holiday for immediate repair. Just not what I have come to expect from a VRBO.
