"Overall, the trip was great. We had two issues which led to a little disappointment. The first issue was the beach. The beach was covered in decaying grass which made access to the water difficult. With the wind nearly always blowing towards the house, the smell was a little off-putting. Obviously, this is nature and difficult to prevent, but others should be aware. The second issue was the dock. It was not made clear in the listing that docking a boat here was not advisable. We had rented a boat but were unable to dock here and had to leave it at the rental. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and as listed. Very quiet."

"Clean, friendly staff, nice pool and great breakfast with plenty of options. Fitness center was fantastic the one day of our trip we were able to use it before they closed it for renovations. On-site restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks and had live music every night. "

"Location is good, property hasn't been updated at all, falling apart. Sheets were clean but looks like the floor had not been cleaned in months. Literal piles of dirt, hair and trash against the walls and in the corners, I did not feel comfortable walking barefoot. Bathroom was disgusting. No mirror, no microwave, no coffee maker, absolutely bare bones felt more like a hostel. Zero soundproofing from neighboring rooms."

"The pool and pool area was nice. We liked how there was a separate adult pool from the kids pool. Also, the room was clean and had clean towels everyday. But, they allow dogs which was not a pleasant experience. Yipey dogs during the day & night was very disturbing and annoying. "

"The beach cabin was very nice. We had a few issues. The WiFi was not strong enough to do any remote work or stream from my computer to the tv. The door lock went kaput and we had to access the cabin using a key, which was fine. I was asked to change the batteries in the door lock but could not find batteries or a screwdriver. I purchased batteries and a screwdriver, replaced the batteries but the lock did not work. Someone came and replaced the lock while we were out and left a “semi” scolding message about touching the lock. No thanks for my efforts or any attempt to pay me back. Also they did not let us know that they were going to enter while we were out. The sand portion of the beach was nice but it was impossible to access the water at all due to the muck and mud at low tide and the “seaweed?”"

"We had a fantastic stay. The house had everything we needed. Location was great. Pool and dock for fishing kept kids entertained daily. "
