"View is what makes this resort worthwhile. The rooms are nice and ours was updated. Huge piece of advice go to Publix and buy some eggs and bagels and make your own breakfast especially since there’s a kitchen in the rooms. The breakfast included is not worth your time. The restaurant where it’s served is very old and unkept and smelled very bad. There was one person taking orders, making food, and serving food. That was our only regret was not making breakfast on our own. Staff was nice, view was amazing. Just that restaurant/ breakfast area that killed it for us."

"The resort itself was fine. The staff was very busy, a bit overwhelmed and slow as a result. The townhouse we were put in was dirty, outdated, with a broken family room tv, sliding doors that are impossible to lock or broken and bedrooms so very small with furniture too large, it was impossible to change in the bedroom. The doors did not stay open and u could not stand in bathroom at the sink with door open. We asked for someone to come out and fix tv, no one came. Garbage outside that smelled and no one emptied. The townhome needs a paint job and a good cleaning at the very least. Definitely not our best stay at Hawks Cay. "

"Staff was excellent and the facility was clean. However we were surprised to learn of an additional $20 per day to park our vehicle in their lot. You don’t get a parking spot included with your room fee."

"You get what you pay for. It's a 3rd to half the price of any other rooms in the area. If you don't care about cleanliness and just want to save a buck, this is the place for you. The front porch hadn't been swept, table hadn't been wiped down. The floor inside might have been swept, but not mopped. The sheets were dirty and it was an ordeal just to get clean sheets. The fridge/freezer was dirty and had no rails so you couldn't store anything in the door. The bathroom cleanliness was questionable, with hairs on the floor and in the shower. On the last morning, we had a wet floor either from a leak in the AC or a hole in the wall (it rained pretty hard the night before). There was a big black mold patch right underneath the AC unit on the outside wall. Do yourself a favor and pay double or triple the price for a nice room."

"The house was nice but the rotting Seaweed all over the beach made the stay less than desirable. No fault of the owners or house. We picked the wrong time of year. Smelled like rotten eggs and two of us got bad rashes from the water. Totally our fault for not doing better Reasearch. House was nice just wrong time of year."

"The room was outstanding. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We were on the same floor as the entertainment/bar, but the noise was minimal and stopped at a reasonable hour. Parking was convenient too. The staff on the front desk were always kind. The house cat, Wilma, is awesome. If there was any room for improvement would be to regularly check the espresso machine. Ours had issues. A K-cup type coffee maker would have been preferred and should be easier to maintain. But there is a small store on the property that had good coffee. Overall, I would highly recommend this location. Very convenient to the Keys whether West or East."

"This place was awesome. Fishing from the dock was my favorite. Quiet neighborhood, me and my wife had our four kids and son n law with us. Pool was good. Owner was very responsive. When we go back to the keys we will look here first."
