"Hi! Very nice property, amazing nature around. Unfortunately the basement was very cold, it was not possible to spend much time there! No windows in the basement bedrooms! Upstairs bathroom leaked. Kitchen pans are very old , some of them not possible to use because of deformation and dirt! Overall we like this house! Unfortunately my husband forgot his Sketchers in the laundry room, someone cover it with sheets! Please call me to arrange a shipping back to us at 224-545-1373"

"Beautiful home with lots of room both inside and out. Very clean with many extras like dog potty station, s’more fixings and plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Private location with room for our dogs to explore. Enjoyed the fall colors from the pier. Brad was easy to communicate with and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend this lodge and hope to be back again. "

"We stayed in the Eisenhower house. Four adults retirement age and our three dogs. This place needs new furniture for sure. Living room chair with ottoman has no foam left in seat or arms and you’re sitting on the wooden frame !! So uncomfortable!! Couch cushions sink down 12 inches when you sit down. Kitchen table wood beat up a bit. Kitchen very dark making it difficult to use counters and see what you’re doing while cooking. Bed mattresses just okay. Loved sitting on porch and seeing the lake. Rented pontoon for a few hours and two of us got completely soaked pants from the saturated wet boat cushions. It rained hard all day one day and the gutter by the front door was so blocked with debris that the water poured down in front of the door like a waterfall all day and we got soaked every time we took our dogs out. They don’t cover pontoon boats at all and they get soaked from the weather. They gave us some wood for a fire and that was nice."
