Very nice find! Nice staff, great rooms, clean and well organized with view on the central area. Not sure if the inner courtyard was under renos but there was a number of construction tools and material that could have been cleaned up. Would go again!

The hotel is a peaceful retreat, conveniently located in downtown Cozumel. The room was simple but comfortable and clean. Lots of restaurants are within easy walking distance and taxis are available on the corner to take you to the beaches around the island. I would definitely come back!

This is a lovely hotel, there's a personal touch from the property being family run and that shines through in everything from the lush garden to the bed linens. As an animal lover I appreciated the friendly pooch and cute kitten! This place is walkable from the ferry terminal and close to lot's of great restaurants. Being in the centre of the action means there's some noise at night, but overall a tranquil oasis!

Book it!!! You walk in and feel like you are in a hidden jungle oasis. It's so quite and peaceful even though you are in the center of the city. It is very clean too. The staff went above and beyond with any questions I had. It is walking distance to just about everything. I rented a car one day and they allowed me to park it in the garage. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay at Xiknal! The place is located right in the center, easy walk to all the restaurants, bars, shops and ferry. It’s family owned and you know they put a lot of love into the property keeping everything very clean and lush. It has a beautiful peaceful courtyard with a pool. They have an adorable dog Paloma that greeted us every day and a small playful kitten roaming the courtyard. Rosalba was incredibly accommodating, she provided beach towels and any bathroom supplies we asked (e.g. hair drier), always going above and beyond. The rooms have A/C and a fan so it’s nice if you prefer the room colder in the night for sleeping but have the fan while getting ready in the morning. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous hotel, the entry parlor and courtyard & garden feels like something out of a fairytale! Friendly hosts and a sweet hotel dog Paloma! Just a few minutes walk from the ferry dock. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

Location of the property and staff are great, but it was an extremely noisy stay. The property is small enough that you can hear everything happening outside, and it was a struggle to sleep each morning with the hustle of the staff in the morning.

Xiknal is potentially the most beautiful accommodations I’ve been lucky enough to book. The staff- incredible, they offer a ceviche dinner for an extra cost if you give notice. The pool is pristine. I would spend a month at Xiknal if it was up to me. Truly heaven on earth. Do not miss out.

Horrible!!! Cada año visito la isla de Cozumel por trabajo y en esta ocasión quise darle la oportunidad a este hospedaje. Los comentarios no parecían malos y con su “flexibilidad” de check in a las 11am creímos era una buena oportunidad, desafortunadamente llegamos y está cerrado el lugar, marcamos al teléfono y nunca contestaron tuvimos que buscar ayuda por medio de hoteles.com para que los contactaran. Una hora después llegaron los encargados que son una pareja y la recepción fue simple pero el cobro no fue respetado con el precio que aparecía en la página, la persona se excusó diciendo que eran impuestos los que debía pagar y en la reserva ya estaban aplicados, en fin recibí la habitación pues tenía compromiso de trabajo y está demás decir que jamás se me regresó el excedente que pagué, tampoco me dieron factura y la habitación jamás funcionó su A/C prende pero no enfría la habitación, la regadera estaba obstruida por el sarro y nunca salió el agua caliente, reservamos cama king y tampoco nos la dieron como solicitamos, la habitación no es insonora, todo se escucha de la calle y con eso para mí fue suficiente para nunca volver a este lugar, que no tiene personas amables, no se preocupan por ser anfitriones, el hotel es pequeño e intenta ser interesante pero sus encargados que viven en el hotel no les interesa que los huéspedes se sientan cómodos, por lo que no recomiendo este lugar, sin calidez, amabilidad o atención que solo hacen ver mal a la isla donde yo viví por años.

El lugar es super tranquilo y agradable, las habitaciones muy bonitas y confortables; me gustó que mi habitación tuviera una puerta directa a la cocina común, la cual tiene lo necesario para preparar y guardar tus propios alimentos. Además conocimos a Paloma, una perrita muy tranquila y amigable, guardiana del lugar.

La habitacion era linda pero muy ruidosa, con un balcon a la calle, el agua caliente tardaba mucho en salir y en ocasiones no salía, lo mejor del lugar es el patio sum que tampoco lo usamos y las mascotas.
