Holiday Homes in Cowbridge

"There were a few glitches communicating via Vrbo, but that was corrected. Very close to the famous Caerphilly Castle and the village."

"Rooms were dirty. Finishes in rooms were very poor; flooring not meeting skirting creating areas for dirt.Photos were totally unrepresentative of the property.Owners didn’t share information that alot of surrounding roads were closed for concerts.Don’t know if the price was normal but seems like it was increased significantly due to the concerts. Would not recommend."

"The neighbourhood was calm, and the host ensured we had paid parking, so we were not worried about where to park whenever we returned from our sightseeing visits. The house was clean, and we loved staying at the property"

"When we walked into the home we were immediately hit by the overwhelmimg smell of vomit and cigarette smoke. We then notice the general uncleanliness of the unit with dried vomit under the couch, dirty towels, moldy refrigerator and stained sheets to name a few things we noted. We did not fell comfortable staying there and we decided to leave as soon as we found other accommodations . We were there 2 hours at most. When we notified the host their only response was that they would refund us the...

"Photos were taken a while ago, looking quite shabby now, lots of rubbish piled up outside, bath enamel badly chipped, sofa bed was the only place to sit and not very comfortable (not enough seating for 6 people). Bedrooms look larger in the pictures, beds against the walls, hanging for clothes but no draws. TV is fine if you want to watch Netflix but no way of watching normal channels."

"Really nice place and location to stay! Very kids friendly and well organised property. Very recommended 👍"

"The property smelt strongly of people smoking (despite the fact that it was advertised as a non-smoking property). The lockable front door was loose in its frame and felt insecure, especially as the location is in a very run-down street with a lot of graffiti and rubbish strewn around. To cap it off, we were confronted with a rat in the courtyard entrance as we arrived back. We chose to pack our bags and drove home through the night, rather than stay. My initial complaint was met with a response...

"Overall was exactly what we needed a base for few days. Needs a bit of TLC. Huge plus having parking and walking distance to city centre."

"Avoid this property at all cost!!! Only up side is location, the property it's self is difficult to find then once in the "home" it is cramped and badly maintained. The garden is no better then a drug den! When mentioned was told its not part of listing yet not mentioned in listing and if thats the case, why not remove the key!! Bed where like concrete and did not sleep a wink! Overpriced to hell and not worth the money! Awful stay and would avoid at all cost!!"
