"Skip was quick to communicate, checked in regularly to make sure everything was to my liking and that I had what I needed, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay! He even provided me with recommendations of places to visit when I arrived. The cleaning service was also worth the added charge, as it was extremely detailed and took one more thing off my plate. The area was quiet and barely a 5 min drive to the beach. I would strongly recommend staying here!"

"The Staff and bartenders were excellent! The pools were very clean and easy to enjoy. The location on the beach was great. The facility is currently in need of minor repairs, which was being done while I was there. The work and workers were very quite and not an issue."

"Excellent! Lovely room, large, spacious with a beautiful views. Very comfortable, cool and clean The facilities were excellent, the staff were helpful. It was ok for walking to a few things, a nice selection of places to eat within a 10-15 min walk. The beach is absolutely beautiful! The selling point really! It felt very peaceful and private. There is some road noise. Which is obviously unavoidable. I would absolutely stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Bay Barbados, and one of the biggest reasons was the people. The staff truly made the experience special. Kai, Akiel, Kay, Destiny, and Devon were absolutely amazing. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable. It seemed like everywhere you turned, someone was greeting you with a smile and a hello. That kind of genuine hospitality is something you can’t teach, and it speaks volumes about the people who make this resort what it is. The resort itself was clean and welcoming, the food was good, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, Sugar Bay has a lot going for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. That said, there are a few areas where management could make some relatively simple improvements that would go a long way toward elevating the overall guest experience: * Front gazebo: The stockpile of old mattresses near the front gazebo needs to be removed. It’s not the first impression you want guests to have. * Beach cleanliness: The beach should be checked and cleaned daily, including removing discarded cups and other debris. * Dirty dishes: We noticed dirty dishes with leftover food being left out for days. This is something that should be addressed promptly. * Beach bar signage: The missing or damaged letters on the Sugar Bay branding in front of the beach bar need to be replaced. Easy fix for 5 stars"

"The property was great, our room was clean and comfortable, there was a problem with the air conditioning that was immediately fixed. Almost all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff checking us in on 10/16/26-4pm was not friendly or welcoming, she should reconsider her choice of profession. Everybody else was excellent( Hermonius and Mrs. Jackie). We had an ocean view from our room. The bartenders were great (Winston and Amari) and the food was good- the omelette station was the best( Delicious Nicole) . We were central to the local vibes, walking distance to local restaurants and bars. Our drivers- Nevil, Henderson and Adrian got us everywhere safely and we’d recommend them all!! We would definitely visit Barbados again"

"Beautiful property, helpful staff. Needs more work on the nightlife activities. After dinner and the little karaoke nights there was nothing else to really do but go to your room or off the property. A little lounge room would do some justice. And the bars as well there should be at least one that stays open late for anyone needing a drink after 12pm. Overall it was a good stay, the complimentary shuttles were great."

"Hilton has an excellent location with breath taking views . They are upgrading the hotel because it needs some updating due to the age of the hotel, so if you dont mind a bit of construction its fine. It didnt bother me because they weren't noisy.The rooms are very nice however the shower was not cleaned properly and mould is visible in the bathroom. Other than that the staff is amazing and the food at the restaurant was great . Just be careful with the eggs at breakfast ! 😳"
