"The worst hotel experience ever!! I paid ~$750/night for a room which normally lists for $90/night, marked up for a congress in town. Very unfriendly staff. Room was 1-star level. Brown stains all over the inside of the bathroom door. Gross. I’ve seen bigger soaps in prisons! Staff never left the right number of towels or shampoo. Leaky ceiling on a main hallway with water puddled in a ceramic floor. Staff claiming not to be aware. This hotel should never be offered on Expedia. Despite the scandalous markup on the room, they asked for $50 for early check-in!!"

"WiFi was down almost the whole time. Pool looks like something out of a bad movie - green, frogs, dirty. Smelled like pee everywhere. Residents wandering around at 3 am with domestic disputes. I would avoid if possible. "

"Ray, the host, was very gracious and accommodating. The bungalow was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for the long weekend. It is located in a clean, safe neighborhood and convenient to some great hikes and parks as well as downtown. We will stay here again, if available, next time we visit San Jose."

"Stayed here before for soccer. The staff is kind and attentive. The pool area is a bit small and tucked away. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is standard. "

"Check in was smooth and staff was kind. Location of hotel was unsafe and pictures of property online were overly enhanced compared to what you see in person. One out of our two rooms was not clean upon stay and we were unable to get ahold of staff to help until second day when cleaners came. Loud surroundings at night with people walking close to doors and testing whether doors were locked, felt unsafe to go to sleep. "
