Located at the crossroads of two highways that lead you to the major sights of Seine Maritime, you can enjoy a quiet private estate and green dedicated to lovers of nature.
Near a farm, brick house and independent flint with large private garden.

Excellent for what we wanted

Overall a great stay. Just what we needed for a week of doing nothing in a cosy, beautiful big house. If you want to get away from reality for a while this is the place. House was a perfect size for me and my family! We stayed here for Christmas and it is just what we wanted. You will need a car to get around, and to get to the supermarket, but we knew this before coming. Host very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again. veryimaginamazinbeautiful

Avoid at all costs

Absolutely dreadful. The place is not fit for purpose. All very shabby and used, worn out and old. Toilets stained and brown, no kitchen towels or hand towels and only large towels. The place is very damp. Even on a nice day the bedroom windows were pouring moisture every morning. Duvet covers too small for the duvet so all crumpled up and had to discard. Everything is the cheapest, tackiest possible. When we arrived it was full of flies and had to buy 2 aerosol fly spray plus fly paper. There is no proper lighting so evenings are spent in a dingy sitting room with numerous dull small lamps.Kitchen ancient and grubby. I have pictures of flies, Stained worktop, stained lavatories rotten window frames etc. No written instructions about anything. This was not value for money and we were misled by the description.

Wir (eine Familie mit vier Jugendlichen Großmutter) hatten zwei tolle und sehr entspannte Wochen in der Maison Thibault in Grosmesnil! Das Haus ist wunderschön, riesengroß, super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass wir prima kochen konnten. Nur die Badezimmer sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber das war überhaupt nicht schlimm. Wir haben alle hervorragend geschlafen, denn die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Umgebung ist ganz leise! Der Garten ist riesengroß und stand uns allein zur Verfügung, angrenzend ist sogar noch eine große weitere Wiese, die wir für Spiel & Sport nutzen durften. In unserem Garten standen uns neben einem großen Esstisch Sonnenliegen und eine Tischtennisplatte zur Verfügung. Auf der Anlage gibt es eine nagelneue tolle Padelanlage, die wir mitnutzen konnten. Für die Kinder war zudem das Ziegengehege mit Hühnern ein Highlight!Ein großer Supermarkt ist in fünf Autominuten erreichbar, in einer guten Dreiviertelstunde ist man am Meer. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es tolle Gärten und Parks. In einer knappen halben Stunde ist man im schönen Rouen.Der Vermieter ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous garderons un joli souvenir de cette grande et belle longère au milieu de la verdure. Les pièces y sont spacieuses, les chambres bien aménagées, les lits, confortables et... avec 4 salles de bain contiguës aux chambres, chacun.e a pu prendre ses aises ! La météo un peu pluvieuse ne nous a pas empêchés de profiter du bon air (de la mer qui n'est qu'à 30 min du gîte) et des extérieurs. Sans oublier l'accueil sympathique de notre hôte :)

Nous avons passé un long week-end en famille dans la Maison de Thibault. La maison est très adaptee à ce type de séjour: tout est à disposition pour les petits et les grands. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la maison de Thibault. La maison et le cadre sont conformes à l’annonce, le terrain et la localisation sont idéaux pour des vacances avec des enfants qui aiment bouger et qui aiment la nature. Ruime maar afgelegen woning

Mooie vakantiewoning. Jammer dat het tussen de 1 en 2 uur rijden van bezienswaardigheden is. De woning heeft 4 badkamers en die zijn niet al te nieuw. De woning is toe aan een opknapbeurt. Buiten veel ruimte. Zeker met kinderen is het goed te doen . Jammer dat het niet in een toeristische omgeving ligt maar zo kun je wel alle kanten op. Etretat, invasiestranden en het stadje Rouen zijn echte aanraders.

Gîte agréable mais un peu bruyant dans la campagne normande

Maison spacieuse correctement meublée. La cuisine manque de quelques ustensiles et les sanitaires méritent quelques réparations (lunette des wc). Les canalisations passant dans les chambres du rez-de-chaussée, occasionnent beaucoup de bruit la nuit... Le propriétaire est sympathique. Une question se pose : Pourquoi doit-on régler le montant de la caution avec le solde de la location ??? Normalement le chèque de caution est à remettre le jour de l'arrivée et ne peut en aucun cas être débité avant la fin du séjour ! Est-ce légal ? A vérifier.

Very nice house but basic facilities and requires a clean

Had to ask for directions 3 times before arriving and only received very basic directions. Had to meet owners friend in the local village as unable to find the house ourselves. The house had a soiled mattress and a broken toilet seat, seat was changed after 3 days, as was defective dvd player. We cleaned the house top to bottom as it had not been done for quite some time. Cleaning someone else's stains from a toilet pan is not a nice thing to have to do whilst on holiday. Kitchen requires some sharp knives, apart from that we had a good time.
