great location in Carentan and the host is very knowledgeable about the area and historic sites. A lot of effort has been put in the look and the feel of the accomodation and breakfast room with authentic war memorabilia. We stayed 1 night and travelled down the coast with a 2nd night closer to Sword beach but in hindsight we should’ve stayed in Carentan for both nights.

Room was good

Stayed 6 nights was really good. Good clean hotel very close to Omaha Beach and a 2 minute walk to St.Mere-Eglise.

When we first arrived Stephanie greeted us with a warm smile and really looked after us during our stay. The rooms were clean and fully functional. The buffet in the morning was very practical with all the essentials and the dining room was lovely. We booked here at the very last minute as our Airbnb was not habitable and this was late on a Saturday afternoon. As this place is in a seaside town it was starting to wind down for the coming winter so it wasn’t very crowded.

Arriving into an enchanting medieval setting but saying that be prepared to adjust to some discomfort. Approach it as a "back to the past experience" still highly recommended.
