We enjoyed our stay at and will definitely return to stay at this little gem. Now and then you find that special place that just ticks all the boxes and L'Hostalet is one such a place. Our room with views was charming and stylish with a large comfortable bed and fine linen. I was struck by the high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast L'Hostalet is a must. Mathieu was a delightful host giving the best of sevice to his guest to make their stay enjoyable.

Great location set back from main town area . Typical small hotel room but a good spot for a few nights only if you are looking to get out and explore and just want a quiet clean hotel room and not resort facilities

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I had late booked here after a problem at another property. It is billed as a 'one star' but it was a nice haven for the three days of my stay. A little 'out of the way' from the centre of the village so a car, bike or taxi is needed - no public transport here. Although sparsely furnished as the star grading suggests, I was content with the nice private courtyard, very comfortable bedding, fridge, desk and microwave plus modern clean and large...

Loved Port Vendres. The hotel was fine, just a couple of small irritations, one of which would not be fixable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Position was perfect. It came as a shock that there was no lift as we were exhausted and with heavy luggage. The wifi was weird. It kept logging out and the username/pw entry over and over again was irritating. My laptop reported it as unsafe. We had hoped for rooms with a view but that did not happen. I didn't feel it was worth the trouble to ask for a...

Staff at reception are very professional. We stayed here many years ago and it is like it is stuck in a time warp and hasn't moved forward. Having to pay for wifi in 2025.
They expect you to clean the room etc and provide NOTHING to allow you to do this. Toiletries were virtually non existent. Towels are thin and threadbare.
One (1) toilet roll provided, so us being travellers from Australia are expected to go to the supermarket and purchase 6 or 8 toilet rolls and then what!! Also..Take Care of...
