"We appreciated the welcome given and also being given a room with a stunning view. Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Breakfasts, snacks, and evening meals were also very good. "Nancy and Valerio are wonderful hosts - warm and welcoming, with lots of knowledge and suggestions for activities in the area. On our first night they drove us to the local agricultural festival where we had delicious polenta and watched the giant bonfire! The property is charming. Our children really enjoyed the downstairs bedroom, while our bedroom was bigger than the pictures show. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with the basics, plus Nancy left us homemade cake when we arrived, and we thoroughly enjoyed Valerios wine. The location is great, in the centre of a real, old, Italian village. The ice cold drinking water fountain just outside was much appreciated. Local shops and bars within walking distance, as well as the bus stop, which has got travel links up and down the valley. Thank you so much for your hospitality Nancy and Valerio - you made our holiday very special indeed. We hope to come back and stay with you again soon, to see the area at a different time of year."

"The apartment was lovely, roomy, warm and with most of what we needed, with parking next to the building. We were snowboarding and the appartment was perfectly located: just 5 minutes drive from Pinzolo gondola, where there is ample free parking. (On ONE morning (sunny Saturday) the traffic to the snow was jammed and it took more like 30 minutes, but most mornings it was very easy to get to the snow). There is an excellent pizza restaurant and a small supermarket just a few minutes walk from the appartment. Our host Emanuele was very helpful and kind, but I don't think he lives in Bocenago, so he was not immediately on hand.Unfortunately we had a few troubles with electricity and plumbing (otherwise I would have given this property 5 stars). The electrical safety switch kept tripping - we must have reset it 10 times during our stay. There was also a problem with flooding of the kitchen / dining area - the water seemed to be coming out from between the wall and floor tiling, and probably came from the refrigerator. This happened 3 times during our stay. I expect these two are new problems and once Emanuaele has attended to them, I would highly recommend this accommodation.Also beware that Google Maps initially took us to the wrong building"
