The best time to visit Costa Azul is during the dry season, which runs from October to May, offering warm, sunny days superb for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities.During these months, you'll experience consistently pleasant weather with temperatures typically ranging from 25°C to 30°C. The ocean is also at its calmest and clearest, making it ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and surfing. This period avoids the hotter, more humid summer months and the hurricane season, which generally runs from June to September. For those looking to enjoy surfing, the period from November to April often brings the most consistent swells to Costa Azul's famous surf breaks, such as Zippers and The Rock. This is particularly good for experienced surfers looking for reliable waves. If you're interested in whale watching, the prime season is from mid-December to mid-April when grey whales migrate to the warmer waters of Baja California Sur.
