Great place to stay and be able travel to any nearby places you desire to visit. Quiet, somewhat secluded, very clean, updated interior with rustic appeal. Would recommend for anyone wanting a river front/mountain access getaway experience.
This place is exactly what you anticipated in the photos. The home was extremely clean and welcoming. The ambiance of the property is breathtaking. A must visit if you’re looking to just get away and relax.
We loved this place!! Exceptional location n owners!!! Had a medical emergency and they were great to help!! River was a little low but expected, still beautiful
The hosts were amazing in anticipating our every need. The place exceeded all expectations the best we've ever encountered. Cleanliness, accommodations, extra little things, location, the streamside, the great cabin, and the comfort.
My two teenage kids, my husband, and myself had the best time staying in this little cabin by the river. Everything was so clean and well stocked. We felt so comfortable in this cabin and we were in awe of the view out the windows. My husband is a contractor and noticed how well built the cabin is and loved the architecture of it. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay.
We had a great time at this cozy, tucked away cabin. It has everything we needed and is the perfect place to get away from it all, with an amazing host. Highly recommend!
Home was just as described! Perfect home right on the river with all the amenities of home! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had all the items needed to prepare a meal. Great coffee pot too! If you are looking for an intimate secluded home on the river this is it!! Great communication with the owners too!!
Quiet, serene location with lots of beautiful trees and river frontage. The cabin was unique and perfectly maintained. We enjoyed watching little chipmunks and lots of birds from the spacious windows facing the river. We hope to return someday.
Great location, very clean and well equipped, quiet cabin on the river. We loved the location and Charles, the owner, was very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Thank you, Charles for a nice stay!
This is a great cabin for a stay in Southwest Colorado. The West Dolores river is feet from the house. The cabin has been updated and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was very responsive. I was lucky to find this property for my vacation.
View from inside the cabin was amazing. We had a few hiccups, we were unaware there was absolutely no cell service at the cabin so we couldn’t get into the cabin. However the owner has a ring camera and we were able to get right in. So just be more prepared than us and have the check in process screen shot. Once in and on their Wi-Fi you’ll be good to go! They gave great recommendations for things to do and were quick to answer any questions.
Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! We had a glitch when checking in ( with the cleaning) and the owner was extremely responsive, took care of it ASAP, and gave us a bit of a refund for the inconvenience. The cabin was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is convenient and the cabin is totally cozy! My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting with some lamps. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at this nice, quiet cabin on a river. The cabin was comfortable with great views of the river and the surrounding hills and forest. The cabin had all the necessary amenities, and we really appreciated the extensive information that the host provided about the area and things to do. The location is great for exploring Dolores, Cortez, Mancos, and Telluride. The only negatives we had were that the loft area was somewhat dusty with a resident spider and there wasn’t any way to walk along the river, as the banks were too rocky and obscured by brush and trees. Overall, it was a really nice place to get away and enjoy the nature and mountain towns of Southwestern Colorado. Thanks for sharing this great place to stay.
Charles was so kind to reach out to us to inform us of a fire that was active in the area and giving us a link we could download to track the fire's activity. This was all provided prior to our week long stay giving us an opportunity to cancel should we feel uncomfortable at any point with the fire being in the vicinity. The cabin was so charming. There were several upgrades made to the interior of the cabin which was greatly appreciated. However, the rustic feel of a mountain cabin was left in tact. The host's were very mindful to organize and label everything so whatever you needed was easy to find. They had a sitting area near the window where we spent a lot of time enjoying the view of the river and mountain side. I really enjoyed having my coffee there in the morning. Speaking of coffee; several coffee brewing options were provided including a fully stocked caddy of K-cups and a coffee grinder. I thought that was very generous. We cant say enough about the property and how beautiful the setting was and how serene and peaceful it was. A perfect place to forget the hustle and bustle of our day to day routines. We would love to come back here sometime in the future.Thank you Charles and Amy for your hospitality and the little touches that made this experience so special.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, well-stocked, and private. Charles was so responsive to all our questions....we'll definitely be back!
