"A place with so much potential but a bizarre experience. Everything in the room - curtains, cushions, carpet - seemed new and very promising but the attention and service that should have accompanied that good start was non-existent. At no point during our stay did we meet our hosts or any staff apart from bar staff who, although very pleasant, showed no sign of knowing that we were guests staying in the 'ghostly' property where, once the bar was shut, we felt like we were the only, and not very welcome, occupants of the whole building. It would have been nice to have been warned that, unlike all other inns, hotels, etc., that we have stayed in, there would be no service of any kind to our room throughout our stay - no replenishment of towels or the coffee/tea tray. There was a vacuum cleaner outside our door so, had it been necessary, we could have done our own cleaning! The establishment serves food but there was no breakfast available which also seemed unusual in our experience."

"Brilliant break for birthday weekend with family plus dog just about everything we needed with clear instructions for everything big back garden and close to shops and beach would definitely recommend this property its deceiving from front as you draw up then strp inside its like a tardiss would stay there again"

"It was such a relief to find a fully enclosed large garden for our 3 full of energy dogs. Also there was 2 small fields we could go on but I think maybe in the summer caravans go on 1 of them. House was lovely, stairs were quite steep and on imediate exit from main bedroom stairs were immediately on the left so best maybe to leave a light on. I found it hard to keep the cream carpet in lounge area clean as from coming in from maybe muddy garden had to go over that to get into kitchen and cream again on the stairs and furniture. I know owner said no dogs upstairs and keeping them out of the bedrooms were fine but the stairs were a bit more tricky, thankfully it didnt rain, just dew from the morning. Lovely holiday apart from losing a shoe in the garden . O just 1 thing shower holder for soaps etc downstairs is really rusty and looks horible - needs to go."

"Great facilities, very comfortable beds, beautifully kept property in an excellent location. We didn't use the car once we arrived & enjoyed the Easter activities in the village, coastal walks & relaxing in the cosy apartment. The homemade bara brith & supplies for the coffee machine were an extra treat we really enjoyed! "

"We had a lovely stay in this quiet, warm and homely bungalow. Ideal for a family of three or four, with great walks from the doorstep and a perfect base for exploring Anglesey. A good local pub is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. We’d return."

"Barbara is a lovely lady and a big dog lover just like us! although situated at the back of her home, the chalet felt very private. Had everything we needed. A few things could do with updating such as the shower but can't complain for the cost! We had a nice peaceful short break here and would definitely return"
