"Very clean, comfy beds and pillows, plenty of hot water, lovely touch with homemade bara brith and marmalade. Would have liked some milk and bread on arrival, as there is no shop in the village. Off road parking a bonus. The property had everything we needed. Dwyn was a great host very friendly and informative. Great walks from the property along the coastal paths and lovely walks around the village. Village pub is very popular does nice meals and a 2 min walk from the house, chip shop is great 1 min walk. We had a very restful stay, would recommend this property, and would stay again."

"I feel obliged to write a review since the recent reviews are mixed. If you're looking for a hotel experience where you're in the hotel/room for a good chunk of the day, you might want to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a place to sleep for a weekend of exploring, this place is perfect. I reserved a triple room somewhat last-minute for a weekend trip with my sister and a friend. The bathroom was clean, and the beds and room were perfectly comfortable, though it's definitely not a place to just hang out. We arrived a little after 3pm to check-in, which was quick and easy, and then we were back out for more sightseeing. We left early in the morning for a hike, so we didn't see anyone on our way out."

"Not one for normally staying in a village location but this was a gem of a find. A leisurely ten minutes stroll down to the beach, a workout of a twenty minutes back up the hill. Lots of local shops that are also easily walkable. The local neighbourhood, I found the people to be so friendly and welcoming. The property given only 2 bedrooms is larger than I thought it would be. Very clean and smelling fresh on my arrival. The beds were comfortable and needed after lovely longs walk with the dog. I would say the furniture is dated, therefore if it’s a modern theme you are seeking then this is not, in saying that nothing was broken or tatty, it was still all in good condition. If any tweaks to be made I’d possibly invest in a more powerful shower, but the jet bath was amazing and relaxing, also the fridge in the main kitchen as it does not close properly. The garden was immaculate and very dog friendly. The owners left lots of cleaning products, great instructions on how to use things and it was generally a lovely stay. Yes I would book again."

"Barbara is a lovely lady and a big dog lover just like us! although situated at the back of her home, the chalet felt very private. Had everything we needed. A few things could do with updating such as the shower but can't complain for the cost! We had a nice peaceful short break here and would definitely return"
