"Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Room is ok, staff are very friendly and accomodating. Pool was excellent. Some areas smells really bad. Bathroom with molds. But overall its was ok. If they can just do something with the smell and molds it could have been perfect staycation. "

"It was an amazing trip and stayed at Doublegem for 3 days and 2 nights. The staff are very helpful and organized. We love the breakfast as well As we are all excited to be the first in line As we read the other Reviews that the breakfast are no good but actually its the best. It’s combination of local Philippines food and typical international breakfast food which is fabulous. My family really enjoyed and so am i with our stayed at this place. We also love the infinity pool which we really enjoyed as well after our day tour into The beaches. Highly recommended will definitely stayed to this place again in the future. "The resort was amazing. We stayed in a beach cottage sea view and it was so relaxing. The resort is boutique and very intimate. We felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The pool is quite small but more than enough to take a dip and swim around. The beds in the water on the second pool were a bonus. Very chic. We always got a bed lounge to sit on. The sunsets at the resort are amazing and people come from all over the area to see it and eat at the beautiful restaurant We found the food very tasty and ate there most breakfast lunches and dinner we were in the rssort . We found it so easy and the prices were so reasonable. There are alot restaurants in the area too which are a short walk away. Bella vita pizza in paricular is just as good as pizza you get in italy. I read that the beach was not nice, but for us it was really stunning. The water was shallow but was very clear. More than enough for a swim, you just had to walk out a bit. The staff are super friendly and they made our stay so memorable. I dont think You will be dissapointed if you stay here. Its probably the most relaxing place we have been to and we are very well travelled staying at alot of 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts. This place punches well above its star rating. Thank you to all staff and manageement for making our stay so memorable. A bonus is that tour a and c depart from the beach out the front of the resort."

"What a wonderful stay we had in the Jaglo 1 Villa. From the check-in to the checkout, everything was absolutely wonderful. The Philippines spirit of hospitality is very apparent and the staff goes out of their way to make their guests very happy. I would highly recommend staying here for anybody visiting El Nido. Be aware it is on a mountain side so very hilly. If you cannot walk comfortably up hills and down hills, you will struggle to stay at this property. Thank you again to the entire team at Karuna!!!"

"Positives: Breakfast was good, room was clean and new, the distance from the city center was only a 10 minute walk, hotel was a great value. Negatives: Rooms were tiny, no fridge in the room which is unusual for the Philippines, rooms were poorly insulated for noise. I heard street noise at night despite being 4th floor away from the street, and we were woken up by neighboring guests before 6am talking and geting coffee,"
