"Great multi-generational family vacation house! We had a party of 11, age ranging from 3-73. We appreciated the space and needed all 6 of the bedrooms for the configuration of our group. The bedroom on the third floor and one of the bedrooms on the second floor are very large. We used the large bedroom on the second floor for a parent-kid combo. It seems obvious (now), but there are a lot of steps to get from the first floor pool/garage/entry to the second floor bedrooms, to the third floor living room/kitchen. If your party includes people with mobility issues, this is a consideration. Also, the beach access is steep stairs up and down (same for all access points). The kitchen is well stocked with all essentials, and we cooked most meals during our stay. (We brought sharp knives from home for cooking/prep. Also, there are no basics like salt, pepper, oil, etc so bring or buy those too.) The house and furniture are in good condition. The decor is beachy-stylish! The beds are firm and extremely comfortable. The pool is fun, but small for our group & the size of the house. Regardless it was great to have a private pool on the property. The development where this house is located is well-maintained, gated, and family friendly. A service brings the trash cans to the curb and then back to the garage area every few days. The beach and the development are extremely clean!! We had a wonderful time! "

"Overall a very nice beach house in a great location. The host however never warned my family that the community pool was closed upon our arrival. It remained closed for the duration of our stay. With three young children this was a huge selling point of this home that we were unable to use. Also the community gate access code was wrong in the host's app which caused minor issue when checking in. Overall my family would stay again as the community guard told us they have never seen the pool closed in years of working there."

"We enjoyed our week of vacation on Buck Island. It is in the middle of everything, so we walked or biked just about everywhere! Fresh seafood and shopping were very close. The pool was refreshing. The hot tub is large enough for a big group. The beach is within a reasonable walk.We did report several issues to the management company (food trash in the house upon arrival, a broken dishwasher, exterior door handle that popped off) and nothing was ever addressed. A repair guy came to look at the dishwasher, said it was the wrong brand and walked out. They said people would come to address the lock but no one ever did. When the elevator stopped working, we didn't bother reportingit since they didn't address anything else. A better property management company may help keep people returning. "
