The Metropole Hotel

The Metropole Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely old hotel right in the middle of Cork. It was very convenient for walking to many attractions within the city with lots of dining options available close by. The breakfast was very good and certainly worth the extra to book it. I would recommend checking with the parking attendant to make sure you use the right car park (if driving) as there are a few along the St Patrick Quay. This was very handy for the hotel."

"Had booked an early check in and the lady on reception said she will call us when the room was ready but unfortunately never. However the room was ready at just after 2pm so we were ok with this. They tried to charge us 20 euros for this early check in so we did have to advise we didn't get it. They took it off straight away. There was a Travel cot outside the room when we arrived but the room was clean."
