"The food is fabulously "

"Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case. We were downgraded to a standard room, as those were the only pet friendly ones at the hotel - which, I also have to say, itself is pretty poorly advertised, as it is nothing more than a dingy hotel by the highway. We could not sleep because the highway was so loud, and we could not enjoy ourselves because our room (and the entire hotel) smelled like sewage. Not only that, but even though I spoke to MULTIPLE people about our stay and the significance, nobody even bothered to say "congratulations" to us. Not one; not the manager who basically accused me of lying to him on the phone, not the curt front desk person who checked us in, nor the wonderfully nice woman who checked us out. I will never, ever recommend anyone stay at this hotel, I cannot even begin to express how disappointed I am in how what was supposed to be a wonderful celebration of us getting married, turned into an experience I'd sooner forget."

"yesss!!! blissfully in a secluded area. hiking trails, too! all amenities as described. towels are extra think & huge. Debbie is fabulous to work with. highly recommend. "

"Beautiful property with a spacious open cabin. Didn’t get to enjoy all it has to offer with the pond still iced over but the game room was nice to come back to. "
