"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "Both bedrooms smelled very bad because of the bathroom pipes. We felt we slept in a sewer. Terrible night sleep because windows had to be opened and there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in the room. We woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Also, when booking it did not state an additional charge for a late check, but we were told that there would be a late check charge after 9pm. "

"Een prettig hotel, maar het viel ons wat tegen door geluidsoverlast van het restaurant. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam, de locatie hebben ze net in gebruik genomen. Inzake de geluidsoverlast, het is een hotel restaurant, dit restaurant is open tot na middernacht, maar de kamers zijn er direct boven, hierdoor is het moeilijk slaap vatten door gepraat, hard gelach etc. De locatie is prima, maar wel in the middle of nowhere.
