The staff were lovely and the hotel in general was good but the bed was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept on! We were in a family room with the double bed being a sofa bed. It squeaked really loudly with the slightest movement and we could feel every spring.

We liked the hotel a lot, especially the very comfy bed and the view. Tha bathroom is a bit run down and need some LTC. The breakfast was outstanding, extra plus for the shots and berries. The hotel is situated very central and we walked everywhere from it. We also jogged around the lake just behind the hotel in the morning. We will absolutely be back.

Every thing worked and we were so happy with our stay at Simon Spies’ old hotel the “Mercur”. It’s very central location and wery convenient when you want go out at night.

Hotel 2 blocks from train station. No air conditioning, but they did have a little fan. No fridge and no ice for drinks. Breakfast buffet was good. Was tub/ shower. Beds were very soft .
