Attention General Manager,
I booked your hotel for my young daughter Allison Ozikizler because of its location and strong reviews.
Now, after a one night stay, I really regret booking this hotel. Firstly, she was charged $28.24 Canadian dollars for a drink that was supposed to be free during the hotel's free drink period.
Furthermore, when my daughter asked the front desk to book her a taxi for her early flight this morning, the taxi cab company charged her $82.24 Canadian dollars for the fare to the airport. This fare was more than double the fare that was charged from the airport to the hotel.
I imagine you have a referral arrangement with this provider, and as such they have not fairly taken care of your patron. This said, your service is poor and has not taken care of your patron, in fact set them up. It would be more honorable to advise a traveller of the approximate fee they would be paying or have arrangements for a set fee based on your referral. I would ask that you compensate us for this extra charge as well, by way of a credit against the room rate and also suggest that you improve your customer care for future travellers and advise the taxi company as well who may reimburse you given you refer your clients to them. Given my daughter was a young woman travelling on her own at the age of 21, it should be incumbent on you to take extra care as we and she has entrusted her wellbeing to your hotel and staff.
I trust you will share our concern
