Completely disappointed with A Hotels City. The images provided of the rooms and bathrooms are completely deceptive. There was no elevator, which is fine, but it was not disclosed until I had to haul a suitcase up five flights of stairs. Front desk was fine, but they don’t show up until 3pm. Ultimately, you get what you pay for here. I thought we were getting a deal, but instead we got hosed.

We were greeted right away once we walked in. Check in is awesome. We got free upgrades. Service staff were polite and informative of local vibes and was able to share their points of views.

I was given the room, I had paid for which inluded a refrigerator. It did not work The bathroom had no shower curtain and you had to stand in the shower area to be able to use the hand-wash. I got another room monday, which had a good bathroom with a shower curtain. Again, the refrigerator was out of order and I wonder, if any of the refrigerators function. I was there for 5 days and booked the hotel because it announced a refrigerator. The second room was OK -however, it had only 2 matching blackout curtains for 3 windows, which l found odd. My general impression of the hotel, was that it was decorated without a general plan and therefore looked like it was put together with whatever they could find. Will I stay there again? No, not when there are plenty of hotels nearby with 24 receptions. I also find that their check-in and -out system is not working properly and to hold clients accountable for a 500 kr. deposit is wrong.

Spotless and comfortable bed. But bar downstairs very loud late into the night. Bathtub spilling water from underneath. Self check in and out codes not working. But staff helpful.
