"I always like staying at Hawthorn suites in Rome. On past visits, parking was always FREE. Now it cost $11 per day! I didn’t like this change at all. Parking should be included in your hotel room price. It was a big turn off for me. The breakfast restaurant food was pretty good but it took more than 30 min for it to make it to our table. It was a bit expensive as well. The room was very spacious but there were mosquitoes out on the balcony. Need more lights on balcony and treatment for mosquitoes. No privacy screens to separate the guest balcony."

"I paid on time the week I was there. Working overnight I refused room service bc I sleep during the day. Having the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN on door, housekeeping still knocked and opened the door on there own free will despite me yelling " No thank you, not today!" After I told management, the next day the housekeeper lied and said I had multiple pets even though I was upfront and paid the fee for my one cat! I was kicked out abruptly! When I asked to switch rooms earlier in the week bc the AC was leaking inside the room on the floor, the tub didn't drain and the toilet was stopped up, the front clerk yelled at me and said it was my fault. The mentioned incident happened the following day I switched rooms! I was very clean and peaceful and on time ...they still made an excuse to kick me out! ***IF YOU BOOK HERE WATCH OUT FOR THE MAIN HISPANIC GUY MAINTENANCE WORKER**** HE is the eyes and ears of hotel and will watch and lie on you! Not worth the loss of peace, nor money for a place to stay for a few days! In hindsight it was HORRIBLE!"

"Nice and clean hotel. The breakfast was great. It has easy access and easy to walk to downtown. Staff was friendly. We had stayed at this same hotel last year on a bike ride and liked it so much it was an easy decision to stay here again on the same bike ride."
