"This is a difficult review because the pub is currently in administration and so was operating on limited hours and staff. Our room was lovely and comfortable and the two staff members (who seemed to be holding it all together by themselves) did their best in the circumstances. They were only offering light bites and the pub closed at 6 p.m. both nights we were there so we had to get the ferry to Fowey to eat (which was not a problem for us) so I would advise checking their opening hours before booking if you're hoping to eat there. All in all - we had a good stay and I hope the pub finds new owners soon as it is such a lovely place. "

"A lovely cottage in a perfect central location in Fowey just 5 minutes walk to centre of the town. The house was perfect with everything we needed for our stay The instructions before check in were easy to understand & the recommendations on the local area were very helpful. would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Fowey. "All the staff were incredibly polite and more than happy to help. Bar staff in eve were amazing , can’t remember names but a tall blonde girl and an Australian lad. First class service. Breakfast was absolutely lovely also. "

"As anyone who has stayed in one of Cornwall's quaint fishing villages knows, the harbour is a steep drop down from the surrounding land. Fowey is no exception and this charming house extends that! It is built on the side of a hill overlooking the harbour with beautiful views from the living room and two of the bedrooms. It is essentially a split-level design with six levels over five half-flights of stairs (i.e., 2.5 floors). Needless to say, it is very roomy with a large, comfortable living room. It is also quiet and only about a (steep!) 5 minute walk to the town centre."

"A beautiful cottage which was warm and welcoming. Excellent views, decor and furnishings. Extremely convenient for pubs, convenience store, and the Polruan passenger ferry. Our host was just an email away to assist with any queries. We would recommend this lovely cottage 100%"
