"Very large clean room friendly staff!"

"Staff was nice, but hotel is dirty, room not clean, stained bedding. Fridge and microwave did not work. Poor quality."

"This is an old hotel right on the Ohio River with river views from the lobby and lounge. The rooms were clean and bright with good amenities. A refrigerator would be a welcome addition but there wasn't a lot of space to add one in the room we stayed in. The town was the launch point for settlers into the "Great Northwest Territory" so there is a lot of history here with riverboats as a central theme. The hotels is located close to everything in town including some good restaurants. There was ample free parking a few steps from the door. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge had a good menu and service with limited wine list. If you're planning a trip to explore the town and its history there is no better place to stay."

"The staff was helpful and caring, from the front desk clerk to the bartender, everyone was great. My room was top-notch and the entire hotel is like stepping back in history."

"I hate giving bad reviews but the the Microtel is in very poor condition. There was a broken cart sitting next to the front desk. A bed pad was covering something in the hall next to the broken cart. There was a hole in the ceiling exposing a broken pipe. A bucket on the floor was collecting water underneath the ceiling opening. That was in the first six feet. I could go on but I think that paints a good picture of the condition. Staff was very nice but the hotel needs a extreme makeover. :-("

"Check-in was simple and quick, same for check-out. Room was clean and we liked that the sink wasn't in the bathroom. Air conditioning was cold. Safe, quiet, and clean. Would stay again."

"The room had stained sheets, dirty wash cloths in the shower, holes in the towels. The hallways was full of guest going room to room drinking and smoking until 2am. The walls are thin and you can hear everything on the other side. I travel 30+ weeks a year things worst hotel I’ve been in 10 years"
