"No frills stay about 8miles from the park entrance. The room looked recently updated and very clean. There’s a store just off of the front desk that sells snacks and beer /wine. There’s a cute picnic area just across the street that’s river front. We spent a few evenings there star gazing. Not all ice machines work, so make sure to ask which one is working. The ac and internet were both a bit inconsistent. Didn’t bother us too much as we spent the days at the park and opened the window at night to let in the cool air. However, with the window open you tend to hear the constant reverse beeping of the maintenance cart. We didn’t use the pools but it looked like people who did enjoyed them. A great way to experience Yosemite without breaking the bank to stay inside and not camping!"
