"So well done. Excellent in every way. In fact our week was so excellent it’s hard to know where to start. Probably most important is to mention how the staff was the best possible. In all positions going to any length to provide us top notch service. I would mention Maggie as the most outstanding. We will recommend Il Perla to everyone we know. A week we will never forget. "The room was minimal and had a nice view! Balcony was clean. Shower was a bit small. Staff was pleasant, and location was perfect for ferry rides exploring other little towns. The pool was very cold and there was construction going on around pool and hottub was closed. Breakfast was nice but cost us an extra $20 because we didnt include it with the room. Not sure it was worth $20 a person but it was good."

"Every now & then, you find an absolute Gem, this was most certainly 1 of those occasions, the service at reception was simply outstanding both upon arrival & today on departure, all staff were extremely welcoming & friendly & although we knew no Italian (which is shameful English education system) they all spoke in good, clear English, the food was simply superb, every dish was cooked & presented in perfection, the immediate area around the hotel grounds was meticulously maintained, we chose a room with a partial lake view, but, in fact, it had a superb view & we were in awe. Of the whole feel & vibe of the place, both Caroline & I would like to express our heartfelt warmth & gratitude for the superb attention given throughout our stay, each & everyone we met & spoke to were great ambassadors to your Hotel, thank you, thank you, thank you, hope to see you again in the future."
