  • I just moved here. I'm still trying to find the "cool" places to shoot. I did find this dock overlooking the northwestern section of Lake Houston. It was a very picturesque dock. Pretty peaceful too. I'm sure I'll be back with a good book when the weather cools. :)

Do Not Stay Here!!!

It was terrible. I stayed in room 219. The only light in the hotel room that worked was the bathroom light, and it strobed. The room was dingy, and the floor was sticky. I was treated like a criminal while sitting in the lobby waiting on my uber ride. Unacceptable that these hotels are even allowed to advertise, much less be open for business.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! overtaken by roaches Everywhere. Couldn't keep them even out of our beds. Running up wall all over ceiling. Toilet seat chewed up by a large dog. Urine smell was overwhelming. Was refused a refund for our 2nd night.

I would never stay there again. Ride staff at checkin, awful people constantly in the parking lot, usually drunk or under the influence of something. Everything in the room seems to be falling apart. 2 big thumbs DOWN!

Night staff help was unacceptable & seen 1 housekeeper in 3 days, asked for an extra towel (only given 2- for 2 guest) but told No & had to wait for room b cleaned (she was on phone entire time cleaning with it on speaker & speaking Spanish loud) ... 1st room was extremely disturbing with amount of roaches crawling, not clean, TV didn't work & after realizing no phone or TV remote. Went to office & remote provided still didn't work.. so couldn't watch TV at all... The sec night we moved to a little better room, but service was non-existent, no phone, unclean, vending machine was EMPTY, and coffee provided was nasty with no condiments & Only thing that was the least bit better was front desk person was LIL nicer, but still not helpful or worried at all by any of concerns expressed over amount of bugs seen while at Regency inn in New caney .... OVERALL I wouldn't suggest anyone to go stay there & waste their $ ..... Really dissapointing & them refusing to provide any reimbursement for the aggravation of everything is beyond acceptable... Do NOT go there!!

It was advertised as having a hot tub. It does not. I filtered my search for a hotel that had a hot tub. If you want one you get a room with a Jacuzzi tub. This was so disappointing.

I made a reservation online, when I arrived at the hotel reception, that reservation did not exist, I had in my hands the confirmation and a person of the review did not get it in their records. This is uncomfortable, because I can't trust online reservations.

Expedia screw my whole trip and I waisted about 4 hours and two hotel the first one would not honor the contract and the second one was not what I booked for after Expedia told me they were the same amenities but we're not. 3 slept on cots at my son's house and my wife on the couch and were cut our trip a day short due to Expedia screw up dealing with foreigners.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at there was people walking around at all hrs of the night that looked homeless trash everywhere hope 2 rooms told that they would both be down stairs and ready at 2 got there at 215 and was told one ready other upstairs I was told I could have down as I have a bad back and knees and daughter is super pregnant I said I would wait for other room he said would be 104 now and 101 in 1 hr I said ok well a min later he comes back and hands me 2 keys downstairs hmmmm funny didn’t have 2 well the 2nd room was so nasty my kids started coughing and gagging got another room and it was the room I was told wouldn’t be ready for an hr hmmmm funny and there is no hot tub tried sayin that it’s in the lore exp. Room there are now so that was a lie and say snacks they had 3 bags of hot Cheetos that’s not a snack machine WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL ohhhhhhhh and the rooms window was busted out so that wasn’t really safe
