We had a great stay. New owners have done a great job redecorating. Beautiful spot on the Lehave river. Great area...breakfast at the Lehave bakery was wonderful,fascinating old building and historical pictures and documents.

Perfect!

Fantastic cozy little spot! 20 minutes drive to Lunenburg/Mahone Bay and more. Mark and everyone we met were fantastic. Great hub to stay and visit the local areas. Lots of things to do, but also perfect for relaxing. Place was spotless and great decor. Canā€™t say enough great things!

The room was sparkling clean and very nicely decorated. Plenty of towels and a small fridge as well as nice blinds, air conditioning, convenient lighting and comfortable seating. Lovely property leading to a dock and small beach although it wasnā€™t clear whether the dock was for general use or just for the adjacent cottage.

Delightful retreat

This motel reflects a lot if care and attention to detail by the owners. You can sit outside near the water and enjoy the tranquility. The rooms are clean and have an artistic flare. There is a full kitchenette. There is a convenient store a 2 minute walk. Otherwise you have to drive to Bridgewater for restaurants or groceries. A very enjoyable experience.

Softest beds ever!! Room was so cozy and beautifully decorated. Staff was very friendly. Loved that it was on the water and we even met new friends around the fire in the evening. More seating by the beach would be lovely. Looking forward to coming back again someday!

Comfort and serenity.

We had such a lovely time. The place was beautiful I do wish we had managed to get the one right on the water so If anyone is looking to stay here book fast. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and took us to our room. We sat on the deck chairs looking out to the water and someone else staying their was building a camp fire. It was so picturesque. Could not have asked for more, well mabye the room right down on the water.

WOW!

This place is absolutely charming! and right on the LaHave river. My boyfriend and I couldnt have found a better place than here. The grounds are very well kept and the cottages are so nicely decorated and cozy. The details from decor to coffee creamer in the fridge were impressive! We felt like we were right at home. It was such a nice treat to relax on the dock during the early evening and then sit around the fire chatting with the other guests. The host, Mark, is very personable and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again! :)
