"Just returned to a two night stay at The Swan - our room was very comfortable with lovely furnishings and a great bath and shower (bath in room!). Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable on the area. "
"This was a very nice space. The bed was nice and comfortable and the shower had awesome water pressure. The room was however, very warm so we had to open the window the tiny amount that it opens. Unfortunately, the street below is very busy and loud. This noise made it difficult for me to get any rest. "
"Comfortable bed, clean room, and wonderful service. This gorgeous little hotel had everything I needed and most importantly dedicated staff who made my stay comfortable and welcoming. "

"Spacious and well equipped lodge in tranquil surroundings. Privacy was excellent especially for hot tub use. Robes provided which was ideal for hot tub. Kitchen fully equipped. Comfy sofa’s. WiFi and TV coverage was patchy but meant we were more inclined to Use our phones less which made for a proper relaxation. Would definitely stay there again. "
"The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District.
The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs!
Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt.
There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy.
