About this space

Nestled in the beautiful North Cascades, Riverside Retreat on Skagit River brings the tranquility of the Pacific Northwest. Come and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee from the coffee bar as you gaze on the rushing river right from your living room. Unwind in the hot tub after a long day. Wake up in one of the cozy king-sized beds in the stylish bedrooms, ready to discover the treasures of the mountain range. Don't miss the game room for a fun time with your friends and family, followed by a crackling fire as the night sets in.

The space
Riverside Retreat on Skagit River is located right on the banks of Skagit River. The property boasts of breathtaking views of the mountains and river. The closest city is Sedro-Woolley, which is around a 30 min drive. Closest grocery store is just a convenient 7 mins away. The town of Concrete has some delicious foods to try, and there are hiking trails off of highway-20 for you to discover. Baker Lake is also a short drive away.

Bald Eagles make an appearance on Skagit, so be sure to keep your eyes out for them!

Guest access
You will have access to the whole space, including the game room in the garage and the fire pit right outside.

There is river access through the forest part of the property, but I would recommend going on the neighboring property to access the river (it's a tiny state park that consists of a boat launch and a short trail to access the riverfront with lots of rocks and riverbanks you can walk around on). In general, there is a bit more space and maintance there.
Other things to note
• Children are more than welcome to be here and it's such a fun place for them to enjoy. They'll definitely enjoy throwing rocks in the river and the games provided. But the home/property is not childproof, so keeping an eye on the kids is required (ex. home has a loft that overlooks the living room. This is a riverfront property, and the river does have a strong current.)

• Coffee bar consists of an espresso machine and grinder, as well as a French press and an electric kettle. Bring your favorite coffee beans, or enjoy the ones provided.

• Bring your own firewood! A limited amount of firewood will be provided.

Inna’s Paradise

This is the most perfect getaway you can imagine! It is perfectly positioned on The Skagit River and at the gates of North Cascades National Park! All the amenities were top-notch, from the beautifully appointed kitchen to the hot tub, to the game room, to the comfortable beds, and more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This home and property are stunning. Extremely spacious inside and beautiful views of the river. Well located for North Cascades National Park and we highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in relatively easy driving distance from the park.

Serene Retreat

Loved this property. It’s charming and the view is spectacular. The house is comfy and well appointed. Excellent location for access to hikes on the west side of North Cascades. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Loved our stay and was sad to leave. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and Restful Retreat

There is not enough words to describe this beautiful and relaxing retreat. Everything was perfect, the location, the property, the amenities, communication with the host, and especially the home. Beautiful & Comfortable Stay

We could stay only one night as part of a road/hiking trip, but we enjoyed relaxing here at night and in the morning. The property looks as represented in the photos, very pretty and well decorated, with an excellent use of space to maximize the views. Comfortable and well stocked with everything we could have needed, and communication was clear and helpful. Inna has thought of every detail. We enjoyed and appreciated our short time here.

Amazing

Cannot adequately say how wonderful the rental is. The views are better than the pictures can relay. It is well worth the price, we will be back next year. Communication with host was always fast and informative. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and spices and coffee area was great. Wish we could stay longer.

Beautiful retreat!

We weren’t sure what to expect since it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere but we wanted to stay somewhere nice for our few days exploring North Cascades National Park. It’s an hour+ drive to all the hikes we went to, but totally worth it. River views inside and out were stunning and we loved the deck area. Inna also clearly put a lot of time and effort into all the little touches that added up to a real VIP experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting north cascades in a heartbeat!

Great experience

The property was clean and beautiful. Big windows facing to the river and I could enjoy the nature. The kitchen had everything needed and easy to use. The communication with the owner was excellent. She responded to my several inquiries very quickly, and I was always very impressed. She went extra miles to make my stay comfortable, and I thank her very much for that.

Riverfront Perfection!

Clean, open, updated home on the Skagit river! Porch with grill over looking the crystal blue river, basement with basketball game and pingpong, loft with reading nook and area for lounging, coffee bar alcove with Expresso + whole beans/grinder + frechpress + electric teapot, and an open family room with large windows with stunning Skagit views. Inna has done a wonderful job decorating and stocking the kitchen. Stainless steel pots/pans, modern silverware, and nice dinnerware. We hiked our whole trip but there are two TVs upstairs and wifi. Highly recommend hiking Maple Pass (7.2 miles) and Cascade Pass/Shahale Arm (12 miles) for stunning, beautiful views. Saw mountain goats at Cascade Pass and also on Blue Lake hike (4.4 miles). It takes up to 1.5 hours to get to these trailheads, but totally worth it. A closer hike, ~50min away, is Park Butte where you see the majestic Mt. Baker. No regrets staying with Inna!!

Incredible house right on the river. My family very much enjoyed staying here. Accommodations from the porch, grill, fire pit and hot tub were some of our favorites! The water on Skagit river and the lakes inside North Cascades especially Diablo lake are just breathtaking. We would definitely come again and stay longer. Only small knit is there is only 1 bathroom in main house so for 6 of us that took a little planning. Everything else was great!

Wonderful spot

Great place right on the river for a quick getaway for the weekend. Lovely location and very peaceful. Single bathroom but two lovely bedrooms. Would come back anytime!

Peaceful and Beautiful

We loved staying in your place by the river! It was decorated beautifully, and the view of the river and mountains out the large windows was amazing. We really enjoyed our hikes in North Cascades NP. We also recommend a huckleberry shake from Cascade Burgers! If we have the chance to come back to the area, we'll certainly look to stay with you!

A wonderful retreat!

We loved our stay here! The scenery was just beautiful! We loved the huge windows in the kitchen and being able to enjoy the river views even while we were inside. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The kids really enjoyed the game room as well...that was an added bonus! Great place for a family to get away!

Absolutely gorgeous and right by the river

The house is so beautiful and all the extras Inna provides make the house so welcoming. We used this a base to go explore and hike in North Cascades National Park. It was wonderful to come back and relax on the deck watching and listening to the river. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us!
