"As a solo female traveller, I was scared to enter the hotel since the lights in the entrance are off, and will only turn on once you actually enter. The front desk is located on the floor above, so there is no one there. The room was poorly laid out, with barely any space to rest personal belongings. The curtains were filthy and stained, and there were flies all over the room. I checked out a night early because I felt uncomfortable staying any longer. Definitely was not a 4-star hotel...

"Besides all the benefits of nice and clean room, yummy breakfast and friendly staff, the location of the hotel is excellent. Just 2 minutes walk to the Water taxi which runs 24 hours and provides access to all of the islands in Venice. If you are planning to rent and drive, there is a paid parking plaza next to the hotel and hotel has its own parking as well. I definitely recommend this hotel for the Venice visit."
