"Staff was amazing. Front desk JACOB was so professional and helpful!! I can’t say enough good things about the front desk clerk who helped us during our stay. On an extremely cold night, they took the time to help us find a jump for our car and did so with patience, kindness, and total professionalism. This level of service is rare and truly appreciated. They are a real asset to this hotel And deserves a raise. Room was clean and nice and warm when we arrived after being outside on a below zero night trying to get. Our car jumped. Roger our server upstairs was also a delight. Our server provided excellent service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made our experience even better. Lastly the bar was so fun. We had such a great experience at the bar thanks to Erin and Melissa. They were incredibly friendly, fun to chat with, and made a truly great Old Fashioned—even by Wisconsin standards. Their hospitality really made our night and added so much to our stay. We will definitely make this our new hotel to stay at when we come visit our son at the university of Minnesota."

"This was our second stay here - the first was our wedding weekend and this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was as comfortable and charming as it was the last time we came! The atrium windows and the array of music selections to play over the surround sound system make for a relaxing time here. The soft snow looked beautiful out the large windows facing the river. It’s such a cozy gem in the midst of the city! We can’t wait to spend more anniversaries here to come! We even brought our newborn baby with and it was a breeze! "

"Good place for money. Good location. Not a lot of parking. Only bathroom is accessed through one of bedrooms only which was odd for 2 unrelated guys but fine. Would stay again"

"The owner was proactive in communication and also answered questions I had during the stay within the hour. The space is comfortable, well-appointed, and homey. I found everything I needed for a week's stay, and the location is close to food (I highly recommend Cali's!) and public transit. If they'd let me live here, I'd move in tomorrow! "
