Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Downtown at USC
The hotel was nice and clean. It was walking distance from the arena HOWEVER. There is a train track very near and it seems to run at night. The hotel offered ear plugs - that should give you an idea as to how loud it is.

Marriott Columbia
Great! Clean, Gym was nice, good breakfast, free coffee/tea. Pool under construction but hotel is very nice. Parking is in garage so safe, downtown hotel.
