Pikes Peak Cozy Family Getaway

Relax and enjoy your visit to Colorado Springs in our cozy home—couples, families, small groups—you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in the lower level or watch the flames warm your room in the master bedroom. During the warmer months or warm winter days, enjoy the huge backyard with your family whether you are sitting around the fire pit or the koi pond or hanging out under the pergola for food and drinks. Summer months are great for grilling and the kitchen is ready to use for your culinary enjoyment should you desire or you can experience the many delicious foods our city restaurants have to offer. While winding down at the house, watch your favorite sports or movies on our large screen TV . . . you will feel cozy and relaxed in our home.

Our house is situated in a prime location for many adventures during your stay in Colorado Springs. Not only are you within minutes of driving to a variety of stores and restaurants, we are only a hop, skip away from Interstate 25 which will get you to south Denver within 45 minutes, the outlet mall in Castle Rock within 30 minutes and downtown Colorado Springs in 20 minutes.

While in Colorado Springs, enjoy the Cheyenne Mountain State Park or top-rated Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Pioneer Museum downtown or visit Pikes Peak via the Cog Railway. And don't miss the Garden of the Gods Park with its many hiking trails and gorgeous views of Pikes Peak. Then visit Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City for eating and shopping. There are many hiking and biking trails throughout the region. It is a short drive to the Air Force Academy with Fort Carson at the other end of town. Of course, the many ski resorts are just hours away.

Perfect getaway!

This home was the perfect getaway for our long weekend! The house and property are beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked with all the items we needed to cook meals. Beautiful fireplace in downstairs den! Such a cute floor plan as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Great place with view

Our family took a short vacation trip to Colorado Springs and wanted to look for a center place so we can travel to do as much sightseeing as we can and this was it for us. Great place, great views and backyard. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Wedding in COSPGS

The house and backyard were perfect for our family wedding. It was clean, VERY well stocked, comfortable couches, nice mattresses, and a gorgeous backyard. The owner was extremely friendly, exceptionally accommodating and prompt with communication. We had a wonderful weekend there for our daughter’s wedding.

Cute/cozy house with tranquil backyard

We loved our stay here! The house is so cute and nice on the inside but what sold us was the backyard. Multiple beautiful sitting areas with dining table and gas fire pit, a play set with slide for the kiddos, a fun koi fish pond— it had everything we wanted to enjoy the cool Colorado weather outdoors. Convenient location to multiple restaurants and activities in Colorado Springs. Communication with the host was so easy. Would definitely recommend :)

A gem of a property!

We had an excellent experience with our stay at Mia and Tim's house. Our girls loved the backyard, and all our kids enjoyed the koy pond, and feeding the fish. It's a beautiful home in a great location, and the owners were very welcoming, and made it a home away from home for our family!

Wonderful home and hosts!

We stayed here at thr end of March and adored this beautifully decorated home. It was a short drive to many of the locations we hiked and had great restaurants nearby. The owners are fabulous and had wonderful communication. Th÷ back yard was a great place to relax and spend some down time. Thank you for having us!!

Nice place, location and view

A Super Cozy and Beautiful House

The house is beautiful and Mia is an awesome host!We booked her home for an 8 day family vacation. Everything was as listed except there really are "two" bathrooms even though the listing says "one".Very clean, all the kitchen gadgets one would need for most any meal, nice entertainment system, cozy fireplaces, nice fenced yard for the little ones. We spent a lot of time enjoying the attractions and sights in Co Springs but also enjoyed lots of outdoor time in the back patio & yard.Thank you Mia!

So relaxing!!

One week was not enough! Beautiful home, beautiful relaxing back yard and wonderful owners!! They even went out of their way to make sure we were safe from a nasty storm coming to the area! We were able to relax by the koi pond many nights and I even saw a few hummingbirds my final night! Would definitely stay again!!

Comforts of home

We stayed at Mia's house during our 20th Air Force Academy reunion, and it was the perfect stay. Comfortable beds, a room for each child, fully-appointed kitchen, and gorgeous backyard filled with sunshine. The house was impeccably clean, and centrally located to both downtown C Springs as well as the Air Force Academy and restaurants/groceries. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, next time we are back in the Springs!

Late spring break trip

We had an excellent stay! The house was well stocked and clean. We couldn't utilize the backyard much due to weather but it was beautiful! The host had excellent communication and responded promptly with any questions we had. Highly recommend this home!

A true oasis!

What a delightful home. We were attending a family wedding in Colorado Springs. This home provided a wonderful place to relax and visit. We especially loved gathering around the pond to decompress and enjoy nature. The home is beautifully arranged and extremely well equipped. The extras and the welcome note showed Mia's commitment to creating a welcoming space for her guests.

Home away from home!!

Staying here was perfect. The property had something for everyone! From the play-set for my five year old to the fire pit for adults. We even had a few friendly games of Scrabble with the board provided!! Communication with Debbie was easy and she always responded quickly. Her directions and hospitality are second to none. The house is comfy and cozy! I will definitely stay at her property again when returning to CO Springs.

Perfect location and gorgeous backyard!

We will be back! The owners were so easy to work with and accommodating. The house was perfect for our family and conveniently located to everything. The backyard is gorgeous and so relaxing. The house is adorable, very nicely decorated, and the beds were comfortable. It is evident the owners go above and beyond for their guests to ensure they have a wonderful time. Lovely Home Away From Home

Mia and Tim were exceptional hosts. They were quick to respond to inquires/questions and are very pleasant to work with. The house is appointed better than anything we have ever stayed in at other homes. There was nothing we needed. The house was clean, comfortable, and everything we needed or wanted for a vacation in Colorado that was close to everything we wanted to explore. The home is also conveniently located to grocery stores, Home Depot, pharmacy, Costco, Walmart, and every restaurant you can imagine. And wait until you see the backyard. It's landscaped beautifully and has very comfortable patio furniture to lounge and relax on. The Koi pond is an added bonus. If ever in Colorado Springs again, we would definitely stay here. Thanks TIm and Mia for a wonderful stay!!
