You can walk the kids over to the play ground, or take the paddle boards out for a relaxing or invigorating adventure. Downtown is minutes away as well as many attractions that you came to Colorado Springs to visit. This two bedroom, one bath house is the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring. House was quite clean easy tonwork with hosts. Park/ lake just a block away was great for the kiddos. It was close to plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Beds and some of the pillows were quite firm if you like that. Outside well maintained. Only "bad" thing was the neighborhood being run down. This place is a diamond in the rough. That said we had zero problems during our two nights

Clean, comfortable and great hosts

Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Kitchen very well equipped, hot tub was great and beds were comfortable. Also super close to everything we needed. Outdoor space is really a bonus, would stay again.

Great location for the Balloon Festival!

Clean property with fully stocked kitchen to cook for our college student! Hot tub and fire pit were a great way to relax! Added bonus, we had front row seats for the balloon festival in the morning s as the balloons flew right over the property!

Family vacation

This house was the perfect place for our family get away. We loved soaking in the hot tub after climbing the stairs at Seven Falls and other sightseeing all day. The house and backyard are beautiful and private. The owners are great to work with!

Quick Getaway

The house is the cutest little hidden gem. The landscaping is exceptional, loved the backyard as well as the hot tub after a long day of skiing. We went for a quick last minute trip and it didnt disappoint. The host had every thing we needed to cook, have coffee, you name it, nothing was missed! I love a clean and well put together house and our host didn't disappoint. Communication between us was A! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property

Came to town for our daughter’s college graduation and had a wonderful time. The outdoor space is very spacious in front and back. The fire pit is a special bonus that we really enjoyed. The kitchen is well stocked. Would definitely rebook in the future.

An all-around great stay!

Hosts were communicative. House was clean and had everything we needed. We came during a big snow, and they even had snow removal service for us. Location was solid — close by to downtown by car, but not super walkable overall. That said, it was a great stay and a lovely home!

Great stay in Co. Springs!

My wife and I stayed for a few days visit in Co. Springs and this house was a perfect spot. It's in a small and quiet neighborhood that was a short drive to all the points of interest we visited. Outside of the house is well maintained, and the backyard is definitely the best part. We loved being able to relax in the hot tub after a day of outdoor activities. Inside of house is very clean and comfortable. Everything is very up-to-date and really made us feel like being at home. The kitchen has all the necessities and then some. Definitely a spot we'll return to on our next visit to town.

Exploring Colorado Springs

We stayed 6 days/5 nights at Cheerful Lake House. Positives: The house was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfy. Beautiful landscaping front and back with a cozy fire pit and relaxing spa. It was quite warm during our stay and the A/C worked great downstairs. We used the portable A/C to cool the upstairs. Easy parking. We felt fairly safe in the neighborhood. We walked to the coffee shop some mornings and did evening laps around the lake. Our days were filled with exploring the sites in CS and enjoying some yummy food spots. Very convenient location to all. Negatives (not many!): The stairs are narrow and a bit steep. Use caution if wearing socks as they are slippery (I bit it going down). Adding an additional handrail at the top of the stairs would be helpful, especially when having to use the bathroom downstairs during the night. Overall a wonderful stay in this tastefully refurbished bungalow!

We were in Colorado Springs for the firefighter memorial ceremony. This property is in a great location. Close to downtown and anything that you want to do is within a short drive. would definitely stay here again when visiting Colorado Springs.

We had a great stay! The neighborhood is a little rundown but we felt safe and neighbors were quiet and friendly. The house is nice and the perfect getaway for our little family. My kids loved the hot tub and the backyard space. It was a quick drive to all our activities and good restaurants!

Close to every thing

Location was great for everything we wanted to do. Hot was not clean to the point we didn’t use it. Shower won’t drain had to fix ourselves. House its self was clean and nice for what we needed.
