Great location and quiet neighborhood

The place was amazing! Great space, ton of amenities like shampoo, laundry, cooking necessities and spices. Close to the academy, quiet family neighborhood and felt very safe. Will absolutely stay again!

Great place in quiet neighborhood

This house was great for our trip to CO! The street/neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Everything you’d need is close by, and it’s a great location to access all that COS has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Girl Scout Senior Trip

We had the best time with our stay!! House is spotless and had the perfect set up for our group of 5 teens and 5 Mom’s! Doug was very informative with my reservation from beginning to end and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

We had a great stay! It was very conveniently located. I was so concerned about it not having central air, but the system he has worked great! The upstairs bedrooms got a little warm but we just put the “I’m cold” people in there. We just happened to visit during a heatwave or that wouldn’t have been a problem at all. Working with Doug was great! I would definitely stay again.

Friends vacation

House was great for the value. Liked the large table with ample chairs for our group. And the two living rooms are nice for adults and kids to do their own activities. Close to some many fun things in Colorado Springs.

This house was just as described, spacious, comfortable, clean, with a big back yard and deck, working gas grill and extremely well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed a family meal at the large dining table and relaxing in the comfy living room. Doug was extremely responsive to questions and very nice to work with. Good location and easy access to everything in the north end of town. Highly recommend for families especially.

Wonderful!

The owner was a great communicator, and he checked with us to make sure everything was okay during our stay. The house had lots of space, which was really nice for our group size. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and it had everything we needed for cooking our dinners. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay!

Host is prompt to answer questions. Great property for our needs. Saw Garden of the Gods 2 days and local attractions were 15-20 min away. Kitchen had all the basics like pots and pans. Beds and rooms were as described. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Parents 40th anniversary trip

We traveled from MO for a family vacation for my parents 40th anniversary. This house was perfect! It was close to all of the things we wanted to do. It was very clean and safe for our 2 year old. The location also felt very safe. The owner is quick to respond to any messages and the check in and out process was fast and easy. 10/10 would recommend.

Colorado Springs

This location is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, with quick access to a grocery, several restaurants, shopping, and a theater. It was a very comfortable home with several updates. We did not use the kitchen (just the coffee maker) but it had everything you would need to prepare meals. All in all, it was what we needed for the two days we spent in Colorado Springs. We would recommend this home for your stay.

A bar b q grill was advertised, couldn’t use it because it was all rusted out. Only 4 patio chairs when it sleeps 10. Needs a comfortable chair

Excellent location for visiting tourist attractions. Owner was conscientious about our needs throughout our stay. Very prompt in fixing a minor problem. Only drawback was the kids could not work the TV downstairs…Needed adult to make it work. Overall, a great week. Would stay there again.

Air Force Academy Graduation

We needed a large home to attend graduation. House was very nice with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. With a living room on each level. House was only 10 to 15 min from the South gate of the academy. If you need a large home in a central location this definitely fit our need.

Great location!

This property is centrally located to everything in Colorado Springs! We enjoyed this house very much. The beds were very comfortable. While we didn't do any cooking, the kitchen was well stocked if we had wanted to prepare meals. We enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable couches in the upstairs den after long days of sightseeing. Having a refrigerator with water and ice in the door made it very convenient for filling our water bottles every day. We also liked having a garage to park our car inside. Doug was very prompt in his communication to us. If you are looking for a home that is clean, comfy, and close to everything, then book this one!

Wedding weekend stay

The house had very spacious community space for our family to gather in. The bedrooms were very simple, but all we needed as we just needed sleep space. Overall The house was put together well but the carpet on the stairs could use a little cleaning as well as the rails.would really appreciated some wood to have a fire in the provided firepit outback but we didn't request any. Recommend they move the sprinkler as it doused the deck so the it was wet a lot and we couldn't use it. I have pointed out a few minor things that could be improved, but overall, we were very satisfied with the rental and all the space it provided. Would definitely recommend for those in Colorado with a bigger group that don't need everything to be fancy.

Great location, great stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our group all used to live in COS so we loved the central location of the house. COS is very busy these days, but we were able to get to the places we needed/wanted with more ease because of the location. We are all very used to having our homes around 68-69 degrees in the summer with air conditioning, so that is just something to consider when staying here. There isn’t central AC and so it did get pretty warm during the day and in the rooms since there is no air flow in the bedrooms. The main area of the house stayed nice and cool with the window unit though. We appreciated that Doug had so many fans so we were able to draw the cool air into the rooms when we were sleeping. This wouldn’t keep us from staying there again, it is just something to take into consideration if you’re used to a really cool home.

Colorado Springs

Our family of 7 (adults & 5 children aged 6-13) stayed here for a week and it was an amazing experience. The house was perfect for all of us and very clean. It was also nice having two bathrooms. The kids enjoyed playing in the backyard with some kickball/volleyballs that were in the garage in our downtime. They knocked it over the fence and the neighbor was very friendly allowing them to retrieve it. The back deck was also very nice. No bugs/mosquitos/gnats at all, which is not something we're used to, so that was amazing. The neighborhood was very established and quiet. We did all the touristy things while in CS (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge, Zoo, Gold Mine Tour, Mueller State Park) and the house was fairly centrally located to all of it. There is also a grocery store and Target just down the street from the house which was very convenient. Doug checked in on us (via VRBO, not in person) to ensure the stay was going well and making sure we didn't need anything. Would definitely recommend/rent again if we were in the area.

Vacation in Colorado Springs

I thought the location and the house were all fine. We enjoyed out stay and having a house to come back to after days out doing touristy things. Just had a couple issues that I would like to convey. We had two light bulbs go out while we were there with no way of replacing them and didn't have a bath mat in the upstairs bathroom. One of the kitchen chairs had a broken leg. The upstairs bathroom door is very tight and hardly closed and the two upstairs bedroom doors were the same but not as bad. It was very hot in the upstairs and we didn't want to run the cooler that was in the window because when we did, it blew dirt in. The outside filter definitely needs to be cleaned; there is caked dirt in it.
