Nice stay

Liked the stay and the staff was nice! But they made alot of noise when the renovations went on i guess in the morning. Which woke us up. But good stay :)

Was just ok, Wwould prefer alternatives during my next visit. No arrangements for breakfast,lunch,diner in hotel premises. Organized from outside, one can as well go out and eat.Why pay more outside food?

とにかく綺麗、部屋も広々で開放感あふれる素敵なお部屋でした。 最上階だったので孤立したお部屋で他の人の目を気にすることなく悠々と過ごせました。

Nice place with terrible service

I booked this via Hotels.com and it had 50% off deal. However, after booking this hotel, the hotel had contacted me and saying this is a mistake from Hotels.com and they are unable to honor this. I booked this Hotel just before heading out of Sri Lanka and was very inconvenienced. Then i was trying to contact Hotels.com and they don't have local phone and this is costly to call international. Anyways after about 45 min...this hotel sends me an text message (not even a phone call) that "Sir we can give you the room". By that time we were so frustrated about the service and we just went to the hotel (Since its already charged my card) to have a shower and we left (We stayed less than 45 min).It's nice place, but i don't think i want to gamble if it (Hotel) has posted the correct price in hotels.com or not.

Ok, but look elsewhere

The place is a huge villa that is very nice and well maintained. However we were given a very small room with no amenities (no coffee, no tea, not even water in the mini bar). The place is difficult to find and a 500 rupee rise to anywhere if interest in combo. There is no good nearby except western fast food, and there is no restaurant in the villa. We were not even offered breakfast. This would be a nice place for locals to stay, not really sure about foreign tourists. We peaked I to some of the other rooms and they were large with a stocked mini bar. So I'm not sure why we got a sub standard room.

Sehr freundlicher Sevice, ruhig, gut zum Auspannen

In heektischer Großstadt ein Ruhepol. Istr auch sehr einfach mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Man kann direkt von Colombo Fort mit dem Bus (138) fast bis zum Hotel fahren (noch 200m laufen) und hat dort dann Ruhe von der Hektik. Hervorragendes Frühstück, auch wenn es schade war, dass es kein Srilankanisches Frühstück gab, habe ich alls "Entschädigung" ganz viel herrliche frische Früchte bekommen. Schönes Hotel mit vielen Plätzen zum Auspannen und relaxen. Wie z.B. die Dachterasse. Das Service-Team war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommenden, mit vielen hilfreichen Tips... jeder Zeit wieder.

Overall my stay was comfortable. The staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating. If you have to opportunity ride with sunil back to the airport. He is such a pleasure!

Very difficult to find it

I was calling there to ask for instructions how to get there, but no one was answering. It took too long. They never cleaned the room. In the room you get a glass and cups, but no tea, coffee or sugar. What is the point ?! So you have to order breakfast with them if you want it. Shampoo is not provided. The young worker is very friendly. .I believe the problem is the management.

Location is ok, bit far from colombo center but very easy to take a bus there. great place it's clean and the staff is very friendly Don't leave food outside, lots of ants will get there but that's all around Sri Lanka

if u want a hotel that gives you as advertised in the description, choose another one. there were no balcony, no safe, no fridge, no water boiler and distance to Colombo was 11 km not 4.

skulle være et hotell i colombo, lå langt utenfor, ingen verken buss, taxi eller tuktuk klarte å finne frem. vi var også lovet balkong, safe, kjøleskap, ingen av disse tingene var på plass. vi hadde booket for 14 dager, og 13 av disse ble ikke benyttet, vi flyttet så fort som mulig

Pleasant stay.

Taxi found this Villa difficult to find, and it is on the south side of the city, very far from the airport. Otherwise, our experience was pleasant and comfortable. The proprietor was helpful to our needs and tried to satisfy our request as best as he could. Hotel staff were ever ready to help. Standard amenities, walking distance to bus stand and restaurants. The rooms were clean. Will stay here if next in Colombo.

Nice place, but barely any restaurants near by.

The property is very nice and the rooms where clean and cozy. However the neighborhood and nearby surroundings barely has options to choose from concerning decent restaurants and eating out. You have to walk the busy main road to find a restaurant; there you will see KFC, McDonalds, Dominos,but I did not see authentic Sri Lankan Food Restaurants... just Sri Lankan short eats ( snacks) . The neighborhood itself is safe- not sketchy (dodgy) at all. The owner/manager is quite friendly and tries his best to help you out. The only real disappointment I have is that there was construction work being done during our stay and when we ordered breakfast, we had to pay for tea....come on, its Sri Lanka-- LAND OF TEA, give a cup of tea for free with breakfast we buy!!

干净美丽的小酒店

离市区有点远，但是却非常美丽静谧的小花园，推开房门阳台可以看到市区景色早餐虽然是要另外付费，但是很不错，服务人员的态度都很好，喜欢这里，下次去还会再入住

Charming place to stay

We arrived at Silvikris Villas at night. It took some time to figure out the location as there were no signs/boards anywhere, but throughout our journey the hotel manager was on the phone guiding the tuk tuk driver. The manager was quite welcoming and ensured we were comfortable. The place was very quiet and charming. Our room overlooked a terraced garden which was beautiful. The room though not quite large was comfortable for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child). The place has more of a homely feel than that of a hotel. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel but there are eateries around from where they deliver the order at the hotel. Our only regret was that our stay at the place was quite short. Given another visit to Colombo we would defenitely love to go back to Silvikris.
