Hotel room 444, the single beds were not comfortable to sleep on. During the night after 2 am, the next door room people were talking so loud for so long then playing music , disturbing us so much

In very good shape for an airport hotel. Check in at midnight was ok, but check in the previous week was great. So staff varies a bit. Breakfast very good.

We went to Cologne for the weekend, and decided to stay here because it has a train to and from the city. About a week before checking in, I got an email with all of the parking details, and that there would be a restaurant available on site. You have to go up to the fifth floor to check in, which has a very nice common area and a bar. When checking in, my husband and I were informed that we would be getting a room with two twin beds. This wasn’t necessarily a problem, but I asked if there were any queens left and the agent told me that the hotel was fully booked. I then asked if we could be seated for dinner, but was informed at the hotel restaurant was closed. There was some bar food that we could choose from, so I ordered a pizza. I saw them take it out of the freezer, unwrap it and put it into a microwave. I also asked if I could fill up my water bottle anywhere, and was told no. We then went to our room to find a large black hair on the bed. I moved it off the bed and tried to forget about it, but then we discovered that our TV did not work. We called the front desk, which we had to do off of our cell phone because there is no phone provided, and they informed us that we could switch rooms. I’m not sure how this was possible because we were told that they were “fully booked.” Overall, we didn’t have a pleasant experience and this feels like a very budget hotel with little to no amenities. Not even a mini fridge in the room.

Great experience
The hotel is really nice, beautiful and modern, the staff is so kind and the rooms very comfortable. The bar is so cozy and we had very nice cocktails, plus it is just in front of the airport. Just be careful because the gps make it confusing and farther then it really is.

There is nothing worst than this hotel ever. They charge you a lot of money and no kittel in the room, no cleaning, no breakfast , nothing around. Terrible nights I spent on this hotel.

It is not apparent from the listing that one has to enter the gated airport parking area to access this hotel. We literally went to check in and drop off our bags and left for the city and were charged 29 Euros for 40 minutes. Then we were charged another 35 for the next day until 9am. The receptionists were quite rude at check in (as if it was our fault they couldn't find our booking for 2 rooms) and even more so after we complained about the parking arrangements after we had experienced them. They did not give any kind of instructions where the closest parking was even when asked. It is quite a walk from the giant, multilevel parking garage to the hotel, one has to go to the terminal first, then along a walkway that isn't covered, we got soaked walking to the hotel in the rain with our luggage. The hotel is fine, just don't go with a vehicle and don't expect welcoming service. Oh, and the room service robot we requested never showed up.

The property was very clean and the service nice overall. However, the hotel has a huge issue with lack of staff ( probably cutting costs) and the team doing everything from check-ins, serving, drinks etc. So the wait is very long ( took us 30 min to order 1 cocktail and 1 pizza). Also, their restaurant has no service on Sunday, and their only food outside of restaurant hours (which are limited) is pizza and chicken wings. I am sure the team at Moxy can do better than that.

Closest hotel from CGN Airport, convenient
Very clean and physically only one option to stay in a walking distance from the Cologne airport. Of course convenient, but actually functional in any experience.

Parking 10 minute walk away at airport and cost 39 euros. Check-in staff unhelpful. No free coffee or tea in room or lobby. No daily cleaning. I like to stay at Moxy hotels but this is a bad one.

Very quiet! Didn't hear any planes taking off from inside the Hotel. Not enough staff as they advertise having a restaurant but were only serving pizzas and wings. We walked to another Hotel and had a nice dinner.

If you are looking for some rest during your travel, avoid this Moxy at all cost. The sound proofing of the hotel was so bad that we had an extremely difficult time falling asleep as other hotel guests kept stomping, talking loudly, and even yelling in the hallway ALL THE TIME. We understand that it's an airport hotel and guests come and go at odd hours all the time, but the lack of sound proofing and the noises people created were really unacceptable. We have stayed at other airport hotels before, and we never had issues like this. We tried to tolerate the noises but finally could not stand it anymore so we talked to a hotel staffer and requested for a room change at around 2:30 am. It was nice of the staff member to give us a new room, but the new room was on the 4th floor, right below the top-floor hotel bar. The stomping from the hallway was slightly better this time but we could then hear chair pulling and people stomping at the hotel bar instead. It was impossible to have some rest as no matter what time it was, whether it was 4 am, 9 am or 9 pm, there were always a lot of noises coming from the hotel. Maybe we were just unlucky to have had rooms that were near the elevator and/or below the hotel bar, but such an experience was unbelievably horrible, and we will never come back.

The hotel is convenient for an early flight, but other than that we weren't impressed. The decor was trendy but impractical. We were given a complimentary small bottle of water for the room on arrival, but the room didnt have a bottle opener or coffee/tea making facilities, which would have been welcome. The bed was very firm and the pillow uncomfortable. The shower was good and the room was quiet but we wouldn't stay again.

Relaxing stay for 1 night
Very convenient for anyone who wants to travel from Cologne airport. The hotel has a pleasant reception. The price, compare to what you get, is excellent. Don't forget, when you get out of the train, to go towards terminal 1, otherwise you have to walk for a while.

Stress reduction before travel.
Moved here for the last night before flying home, and so happy we did! What a friendly place. Walked to the terminal to check in for our flight in advance, enjoyed the upstairs lounge a lot. Makes the departure practically stress-free.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to staffing reasons but at least they had some food options at the bar. It’s literally at the airport so there isn’t any places to go get food near by.
