The room had an unpleasant damp and musty smell upon arrival, which was not comfortable and negatively affected the first impression. During my stay, there was heavy snowfall, and unfortunately the parking area and walkways were not properly cleared. Since all room doors open directly to the parking lot, moving around was difficult, with snow accumulation reaching approximately 40–50 cm in some areas. On the positive side, the room itself was quiet, and the room temperature was comfortable. The heating worked well, which helped during the cold weather. With better attention to room maintenance and proper snow removal, the overall experience could have been much better.

No complaints about this place. You get what you pay for, yes it was small but it was clean and quiet and it was somewhere to sleep for a good price. Would probably come here again

A nice economical place to stay

The reviews are accurate that it's dated with even having to fill out registration by hand on paper but it was an economical, clean place to stay. We liked the location, it was comfortable and quiet. My only feedback is that I like a good soak in the tub after hiking and the bottom of the shower curtain was moldy...an easy fix.

The property is located very closed to a water /small beach area. Beautiful surroundings. The property needs some fresher up/upgrades. But well maintained in cleanliness.

A bit overpriced for what you get. Ok for a fast stop over. Better than a camping spot. The next day a got a beautiful newly renovated luxurious motel room in Tobermory for a bit less. The owner was very nice.

Place needs a renovation as it is not in the greatest of shape - cracks in the gyprock and the chain latch on room 12 needs to be replaced as it does not latch and screws are coming of the woodwork - room was clean, internet worked fine, bed was comfortable enough and no problems staying there for one night

We just used it at night time, but couldn't wait to sleep in our soft bed. My only complaint is there bed is way to hard to get a comfortable sleep through night. More like a stone slab with terie cloth bottom sheet . Ouch out aching backs
