Este, Monselice and Padua are nearby and are great to visit. We visited Venice by train (from Monselice). The owner was very kind and helpful. "This is an awesomely renovated home with old character but modern conveniences in a nice location. We found it a nice break from the bustle of Venice even tho it was a 45-60 min drive to Mestre and the train station. Great views and stunning sunsets and we were lucky with moon rise..."
