"The redesign of the building is lovely, and we were really looking forward to our stay but it did not quite go to plan. Our room was next to the air vent for the kitchen which was extremely noisy, as were the kitchen deliveries during the night. The restaurant served my pregnant wife a meal with an alcoholic relish despite us checking it with them beforehand several times. The manager denied this the next day until we showed him a photograph! We are trying to support local pubs and hotels but we would not stay here again. "

"Very clean property with lovely views, & adjacent garden. Comfortable beds, efficient heating & hot water, great showers. Parking a brisk 5 min walk to the marina & a stone’s throw from the ferry to cross to Dartmouth. Excellent dining opportunities nearby. Quite steep steps to climb up or down to the house. Wendy, very helpful though out. We were completely spoilt with the weather but irrespective, a great place to stay"

If we’d had more time, we’d have liked to stay many more nights to explore the area and enjoy the welcoming lodging. "

"Such a unique place. So cleverly fitted out as a boat that during a storm we believed we were on the high seas! Stunning views, wonderful food at Alf Rescos and the parking permit made things so easy. The position in central Dartmouth couldn't be better. We are planning to revisit asap and wouldn't hesitate te recommend the cabin."
