Cold Kirby from the Cleveland Way Snow covered pasture leading up to the village with the church of St Michael at the top of the bank.
St Michael's Church in Cold Kirby The church in Cold Kirby is located towards the east-end of the village at SE 533 845. This photograph was taken from the back-end of the church from a position on the Cleveland Way long-distance footpath. The Cleveland Way passes around the eastern side of the church as it makes a connection with Low Field Lane. Notice the light showing in the window indicating that a service was probably taking place - the photograph was taken on a Sunday morning.

The room was clean comfortable warm and very spacious. We looked out onto the outdoor pool. One night we heard them bell ringing at the church nearby for some time. All the staff were extremely kind and polite and we enjoyed our breakfasts.
