"Very unique, historic house. Easy check in with a door code. Loved the bed and the soft sheets it was so comfy. I had an amazing sleep. It was so quiet during the night it was actually almost a little spooky. Bathroom was very small but understandable for the historic nature of the house, they renovated it in such a smart way and the water was hot with good pressure."

"Kids loved the pool and climbing area. If you are big into the arcade games, only a couple were working and the rest were out of order. We traveled with two under 4 and received a courtesy call from the front desk around 8pm. Very thoughtful but bad timing…Woke the kids up. Breakfast was quite expensive for a small, but tasty, buffet. No kids menu. Staff was great. Would come back."

"It is a standard motel room, nothing special. Comes complete with a rock hard mattress and paper thin pillows,and for the authentic motel look it has the kitchen chair and tin full of cigarette butts outside the door to the room."

"We had a wonderful 5-star stay here for a birthday getaway—just two of us looking for a relaxing break. The cottage was very clean and exactly as described, and check-in was easy; our host even let us know we could arrive early, which we appreciated. There were lots of movies, books, and games available—great for families—though we didn’t need them. We loved relaxing by the window or on the front deck watching the water. The location was convenient, and we could walk to a nearby restaurant. If you are into wineries, there are so many close by! We found one we enjoyed with an outdoor fireplace. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place—it’s exactly what you want in a cottage getaway."

"The home is beautiful and unique with an outstanding view over the lake. Very easy entry and nicely appointed.Billiards table was a plus as the weather was stormy at times. Good WIFI connection. Abundant TV's! Gas fireplace in the master bedroom was very nice for the stormy, windy night.A few "more forks" in the dining area for a family of 4 would have been a plus.Good access in early spring to surrounding "things to do".Highly recommended"
