Outstanding
This is a great hotel with a wonderful multi-lingual staff who were invariably cheerful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location for walking everywhere in Cognac including several cognac producers. Highly recommend the tour of Hennessy.

Staff were welcoming, lovely hotel grounds and nice ambience. Free parking behind secure gates was a bonus and plenty of bays. Breakfast choices was a let down for the cost. Room opened onto small wooden terrace to garden area so nice to have choice to sit outside with some privacy. Room itself okay in size but quiet dated colour scheme and decor. Would of liked extra pillows and top bedsheet as the aircon worked but stopped with an error code so was bit warm with quilt. Liked that it did have a small fridge and coffee machine in the room.

Perfect location
Really surprisingly great hotel with such a cool vibe and location, friendly service, easy parking and check-in. Our room unfortunately smelled somewhat stuffy (old smoke) which we felt the next morning. Apart from this, the hotel was a great find.

Perfect hotel, in every way.
Just an amazing little hotel. Perfect location, lodges were excellent, great condition, well equiped and clean, staff really friendly and attentive. Genuinely can't wait to visit again, really good for Cognac too, a 5 min walk if that. Would like to try the other cabins next time.

Lovely hotel with a view
Gorgeous hotel and room. Service was impeccable too. The location of the hotel is amazing and walkable to the center. However the only issue I had was with the bathroom drains, they weren't cleaned before our arrival and that made the bathroom into a swimming pool after a shower

Oasis in Cognac
The hotel is within east walking distance from the town center but set in a quiet spot on the riverbank. Excellent desk staff. Room was very quiet. Very happy with my stay.

Tranquility in the Heart of Cognac
Amazing location in the heart of Cognac and on the banks of the river. Friendly service and absolutely spectacular, groomed grounds to stroll through. Our suite was spacious, beautifully appointed and quiet. Highly recommend this hotel for its beauty, central location and tranquillity.

Really loved our stay here. The room was perfect and having the terrace is a nice touch, especially in summer I'm sure. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property is right in the heart of it all, within walking distance to everything while having someone 5 start restuarants and cocktail bars at its doorstep. This will definitely be my go-to place to stay while in Cognac in the future.

worth a stay
A good quality overnight stay. Pool was small but didn’t effect or stay. Excellent location, easy walk into cognac. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommended

Great hotel with a unique range of accommodation. Nice welcome from friendly and helpful receptionist. Good car parking. Easy 5 minute walk across the bridge to Cognac and the Hennessey experience. We stayed in a chalet/lodge overlooking the river but still had access to the hotel facilities. Recommended.

An island in the heart of Cognac
Great layout and interesting place to stay. Pool is sunny all day and quiet to relax by. All the facilities of Cognac are within walking distance so what else do you need.

Great stay.
The property was located perfectly near Hennessy, the staff was so helpful they helped us get a taxi to Remy-Martin and taxi when we checked out to the train station. Definitely would recommend to friends.

A Gem in the middle of town
In the middle of busy cognac we made a left and found the entrance to this beautiful and large property. The carpet quality was excellent for a hotel- it felt like home. The room was large. The location was excellent 5-7 minute walk across the bridge and you are in the old part of town. There is a delicious Thai restaurant just across the bridge. Service was very good - the reception helped make the dinner reservation at Bann Thai.

Great place to stay in Cognac!
We loved this place. We stayed in a cabin on the river. Very cute and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was very nice - large windows looking over the grounds.

A great hotel (not a caravan park)
A great hotel to visit the town of Cognac. The name 'caravan park' is a bit misleading - this is an excellent hotel. Great setting by the river just across from the Hennesey distillery (which, by the way, is a great place to do a tour round). I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay.

Good hotel, a little isolated. May be we found it so deserted because it was very off season. But overall it was ok. Summer there should be a lot better. Rooms look recently updated, everything look new and clean.

Great base to visit the Cognac area
Great location for visiting Cognac and the surrounding area, tucked away with a picturesque river view, plenty of parking and within easy walking distance of the old town. Room surprisingly comfortable given the description as a caravan park - a caravan park it certainly is not! Something a little different from the usual hotel but no complaints at all with the room, location or service. Overall highly recommended.

Stunning location and grounds
Absolutely beautiful setting next to river. Grounds are huge and the outside area to enjoy are vast and beautiful. Rooms are large with tales to eat at inside and out. Did not eat breakfast or make use of the bar, but both looked very promising and welcoming. Staff were incredibly helpful and spoke good English. They even booked tours for us at local cognac houses. Wifi was haphazard as the grounds and are a to cover were very large and during busier times, difficult to get reception. Coffee could be made in the room but first had to purchase a one euro packet from the office. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful by the river
We stayed in a river view lodge and it was really comfortable. The location is perfect for walking into Cognac as it is a 2 minute walk to the centre but the site is in a peaceful setting by the river.

Beautiful Grounds
Hotel was just across the river from the main part of town. Very easy to find, and in walking distance from some of Distillers. Parking was free. The grounds was fantastic, right on the river, and the hotel just had lots of interesting decorations. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions. Room was clean with a working AC and plenty of room.

These rooms are conveniently located a short walk into the old city, located on the river and very quiet. The rooms are quite small, however still value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. We noticed that there were very few hotels or apartments with an area to sit outside so the deck off the rooms was a welcome addition.

Don't be fooled by the name
A bit nervous about booking into a caravan park, but the reality is it is a hotel with some 'Gypsy' type caravans in the grounds- I would suggest a slight change of name. Rooms decorated with lambris (strips of wood) giving a cabin/sauna feel to the rooms. Excellent location and staff very friendly
